A thing that I have always found annoying in GalCiv was, that you had to manually keep track of your tribute income. You had no way of seeing what races were paying you tribute, and how long time there was until the payments stopped. This is a thing that I would like to see changed in GalCiv 2. go back and look at the numbers involved with those who "stood beside us". I appreciate the sacrifices they made, but in the end they were symbolic. THat is how it always works. You seem to forget that Clinton got through 8 years of presidency without serious foreign policy blunders. And don't mention Somalia. The U.S. public were not ready for a larger commitment there.
