While most MMO's are a drug addiction, only EvE is a second job you have to pay for. [e
Homeworld, hands down for me. When I bought it in 2002 it was the 1999 game of the year edition I found in the 9.99 bin at the store I worked at. It had space ships on the cover, I like spaceships. By far one of the best video game purchases I ever made. The graphics/aesthetics were amazing, this game flawlessly put the atmosphere and mood in the storyline, they set each scene with grace. The music score was probably the best I've ever heard for a space game. The 3-D RTS / multipl
I'd be happy with that, then use the executor as the titan. EDIT: Ha, I said executioner class last night.
Well that's what Goa had already said in the previous post, but I was replying that I understood the problem. What I was suggesting is that if a titan was in the gravity well when STTC/scuttle is initiated that a particle effect/graphic could be implemented to shoot a beam from the titan to the planet as it is being scuttled to give the appearance that it was destroying a planet. As for scale, I dunno. I'm not a true SW buff so I don't know how big the
What are you saying, that we can't import a Death Star model for one of the Titans and treat it like a Titan class ship? Is it an intellectual property rights issue, or is there some sort of technical issue I am failing to grasp here?
Quoting ituhata, reply 5It just dawned on me this morning that a death star could use the VL titan's ultimate move. Please tell me this is the case, or if not seriously consider it. I want to destroy a planet named Alderaan. It is not possible. The Vasari Loyalist titan does not destroy planets (though this seems to have been the plan at one point). You destroy them simply by researching something then scuttling it. There is n
I tend to think of them both at the same time, imagination usually comes before the theories, mathematical proofs and discoveries. I'm just mindful of what is a theory, and what is law and those other theories that are widely accepted and have been proven mathematically in almost every situation. The thought has crossed my mind, assuming the expansion of the universe slows down at some point to allow a reversal. Otherwise, it doesn't seem there are black holes big enough to af

Michio Kaku said to a mathmetician, infinity is simply a number without limit. To a physicist, its a monstrosity. Gravity becomes infinite, density becomes infinite, time stops. I've had fun watching many noted physicists on tv wrestle with the problem and one of the more interesting theories I've seen thrown around is the possibility on the other side of the singularity point in a black hole is another universes big bang, and its possible our entire universe is inside t
I didn't say anything about the information, just that it's an incredible wealth of information, you as a person can pick and chose what you want to watch. There's all kinds of stuff on creation science, and videos of alleged proof that God exists as well as videos that show proof that he doesn't and then there's tons of goofy stuff, beautiful stuff, meaningless stuff, and profound stuff. It's endless. The point is, you seem to be blocking access to it for no other rea
The defending fleet and orky are going to group by the defending SB and tactical structures...mass bombers is a good strategy but if the defending player knows you are coming at him with bomber spam, he's going to switch all his carriers to fighters and most certainly will have multiple caps with anti-SC abilities (for example, I had two kols with flak burst, and both were level 6+)...bomber spam helps but it
You don't think its extreme to deny yourself access to such a powerful information tool such as youtube? You know you can block videos based on their content, right?

I would open up my web filter at homeand make an exception, that's just a tad extreme to me.
I am assuming you are at work, so whenever you get home take a look at them, or just watch for it on the Science channel. They show reruns leading up to the newest episode on Wednesday nights and you might occasionally catch a marathon on Saturday or Sunday. Also check out How The Universe Works episode named 'Extreme Stars', just to learn how stars work, Mike Rowe is an amazing commentator and they should have kept him for season 2. Or try watching it on

I'm still partial to SMELL THE PLEASANT TREES! EDIT: Me and my roommate used to get a kick out of saying A GIANT SHOCKWAVE HAS RIPPLED THROUGH MY PANTS in a very convinving Vasari voice everytime one of us let one go. ...well, trade pants for a slightly more direct and vulgar word.
Oh, I found the episode I was looking for. its 42 minutes long, the pat I was talking about occurs at around 3:18. Also you may find this episode very interesting.

There are imponderables that we will most assuredly never get an answer for, just the facts of life. If you are prone to theological answers then your search is over because god is there to fill in the gaps. But if you are normal and curious, inquisitive and reasonably educated, well there is a whole universe out there to explore. Just the things made real in the last hundred

Thanks for the link. While an interesting read, I always take that kind of source with a grain of salt. See, I went to a private christian school from 2nd grade to 5th grade and we had a creation science class and they've tried to teach us, among other things, that mankind was here before dinosaurs because they found a fossil underneath a dinosaur one, and that we have irrefutable proof that adam and eve existed because they discovered the bodies without belly buttons. Even at t
I don't really care for the ability as there are better abilities to spend points on for both advent and vasari carriers but have you done any testing with them going up against Kol Flak Burst? Might be a 50/50 shot on timing but if you observe bombers load launching you could phase them out of flak range, making it at least situationally useful. Just a thought, never tried or tested it.
