I don't think it is getting too old to reference MOM. The races and wizard leaders were not balanced which made it fun, but in combat there was always a counter to various units. Maybe they just got lucky when they made MOM. If WoM was too ambitious, then there is little hope for a spiritual successor to MOM. Maybe turn based combat is a thing of the past. Look what they are doing to the new XCOM. Squad based combat out the window.

Would you be willing to pay the cost for each upgrade? I don't think that you could expect that all 50 of your spearmen would be upgraded just because you design a new upgrade. I could design my spearman with magic armor and throw in a mount which would likely cause a bit of an imbalance in the game. Maybe if your upgrades were limited by class and level then it would be practical but you would still have to pay a cost per unit. I would love to save the time it takes to build a new upgrad

I just started playing this game a week ago. I was trying to complete a level 2 hut quest but I was unable to reach the potion reward. I kept playing and as I uncovered the map I discovered that the potion is on an island with no beach. Is there any other way to reach the potion or to delete the quest? I don't suppose the dragon could fly there. I see there are a lot of cool suggestions for improving quests. I would love to have a few more special units such as the Dragon. The Dragon
