I dont post too often but I must log in to inform you that I am very pleased with how quickly someone figured out how to solve this problem. I was ready to call it a day when the game wouldnt work... but I log in and found the solution immediately. And problem solved! TY Derek Paxton.

All the changes will make the map feel bigger. Thats a good thing since the map felt small. So thats good. Instead of the ethereal "Essence" perhaps there should be something more plain like a Ruin. The ruins are haunts of ancient power, which gives historical and spiritual flavor.
Simple fix: Just pre-'fortify'(which is already a buff in the game) a line across. Easy cheezy lemon squeezy!
Ya, first thing i did in a new game was "summon shadow warg "when i had 46 mana and poof i was in negative.
Armies moved slower in enemy territory in real life. This was mostly because of problems like extended lines of supply and unknown terrain. Since we dont have supply in this game, disallowing road use for invading armies simulates that slowdown.
Kudos to the "The Champions" series, written by Malsqueek.
Do Pink Space Ponies think to race their cronies?
I love the Altair henchman. They might be a little buggy. i traded a cloak to one of them(i think the torch bearer), and the cloak disappeared. Bought the same henchman a horse and it also disappeared.
The assassin should be a magic caster's worse nightmare. Let me tell ya what an assasin really needs... "Shadowstep" which allows him to teleport anywhere on the map and immediately perform a light stun attack which merely interrupts a spell caster. The attack doesnt need to do much damage. Its the teleport with automatic spell interrupt that i would like to see.
I would gladly pay a dollar on Tuesday for FE multiplayer today
Dont look
I was thinking about the feeling some people have that there is little room to maneuvre in this game because of choke points, and also because monsters are aware of us and we are aware of them, which makes the game map feel small and cramped at times. Wouldnt it be better if we didnt KNOW where the monsters were, and they didnt know where we are? I know its late in the game design process, but it isnt too late. Maybe it would be easy to implement. I dont know, but hear me out... <p
Heya. Well, OK, there is something to what you are saying. The tough monsters are definitely "in the way" more, and they seem to camp out on chokepoints. Yes they are more active in 913. I cant tell if they are gonna be 'stationary' or not. But there is something more realistic about that. Nothing like a little uncertainty to draw us in. You tiptoe your scout past a monster and it doesnt seem to notice, so now its time for YOU
"Make the tech tree somewhat dependant on moral decisions. For example, the tree changes depending on if you follow a slavery or freedom path. Does your civilization embrace, control or prosecute magic use? Do you follow a scientific or magic use path? Are you tolerant of other races or hunt them down and kill them? Change the tech tree based on research decisions made before it. For example, if you research a particular branch of the tree, the other branch changes in respect
heya. I just did it again and got the download just fine. thanks for the help, guys.
the latter. I didnt stay at keyboard to watch the whole thing dopwnload. I just watched for a moment. came back an hour later and I dont see a file to play with. I can try downloading again. no biggie, friend Frogboy
ty for trying friend. no luck. but you are a good person for trying to help [e digicons]:D[/e]
hmm downloaded it and walked away. When I returned it was apparently done downloading, but I didnt see any files to open. Loaded the game up and it still says 9.0. Did I blow the download?
Well, i am not particularly computer literate, and i was nervous about the download/update process. To my surprise and joy it was easy and painless. Not to say that other people with different systems arent having a hard time, but I had an easy time. Also, .90 is even better than .86. I see a great game emerging from the mists!
Thats great news! I can heardly believe it. Umm. actually I knew I could download it all along. All along, yeah, I was just foolin with ya. well now. Things have changed. Never mind what I said previously, all that stuff about being humble and forlorn just went out the window. Cause i am one smart guy. The chap who always comes out on top, who stalks the shadows and grabs the gold ring when nobody expects it. I shall purchase and download this
That is understandable, vieuxchat, but it is very cruel of you to tell me about how good FE 0.85 is without voting to let me play it. Or am i allowed to download the beta today if i preorder now?
Are you telling me I can get in the beta by preordering? I can haz pie even though I was a lunkhead?
He was a dope and a jerk, but his repentence seems to be sincere, and deep down he is a good guy. Let poor Miago in today
Many times I have browsed the sad posts here and enjoyed your disappointment over the failed Elemental WOM. Why? Because I was wise enough not to buy WOM. I dont buy games the first day they come out because I am smart and patient. Fools rush in where angels fear to tread. I dont mind waiting a few days to see what gullible people like you find out for me. You are my test subjects. You thought you were so hot as you stumbled all over each other to
