Accidental double post

Well, I've played several Stardock games before this. Sins being one of my favorite strategy games, and when I went to buy this I saw it was a Stardock game I figured it would be reasonable at least. This game was a joke, a scam was more like it. We all payed to alpha test a game. Stardock also know that if they didn't release the game for free that they would lose a huge amount of customers, it isn't an extraordinary step - it is a bu
Can I get my money back then?
I personally think that MoM has no successor yet, because I considered AoW to be a less than superb game. To be honest, the closest thing to a true MoM successor is Fall From Heaven 2 which is a mod for Civ 4 - it is a much better game than E:WoM. I would pay 40 -50 bucks for it, but it is free!
So, I have been poking in here every now and then to read the dev journals and I am wondering why they are making 2 games? Doesn't it go, complete game then sequel or game number two. From what I have read about FE I am not really liking some of it. I like micromanagement and dynasty building and having to focus on my cities while fighting wars, but it seems as if they are cutting all the micromanagement out for a more streamlined game; which makes me think the Warhammer 40k games, which
I would like a physical copy considering that I paid 50 bucks for a physical copy of WOM. I have tried to be patient, but it is hard when you bought a game expecting a game and got something that was comparable to alpha testing. We aren't being greedy here, we are just being reasonable considering we paid to wait for a game that is barely even playable a year later.
I would've liked my money back, that is usually how it works when something is crappy but due to software policies it makes it incredibly difficult to return video games for anything but the same thing you purchased. Or even worse if you had bought the game online then you were also screwed. You can argue all you want but the game was released incomplete and I understand that they are giving free games but these aren't even on the horizon yet.

I am going to admit that hte game is better than when I f

Apparently you are not a consumer in Economy 2.0. If you are a company you don't put out crap, and try to pass it for a game. I bought a game, not an investment. I am going to be so busy by the time that this comes out that I won't be able to play, that is why I am so angry. Why did they release it in the first place if they knew it was crap? It is bad business practice. Why are you defending it? You got ripped off just as much as I did, but you are living in a land of rainbows and po
Why have they changed the story though, it was like you're getting a free expansion because you paid for this piece of crap. I read the FAQs and everything but I just feel thoroughly ripped off. Yeah, I am not mean just a very unhappy customer. I spend my money on something I want it to be complete. 'Looking Very Promising' is just a cop-out, its kind of like - 'Oh, hey, we are sorry that you bought this crap in a few more months you might be able to play it.' I've bee
So I bought this game over six months ago and it is still pretty much crap, I came here to check up on the development recently of the expansion and it is now set to Fall. When I came here originally it was April, and now Fall? What is going on with this? I will tell you, you should wait to release a complete version of the game instead of a beta. Its bad business. Any answers?
I bought a game though, not an investment... That is my only problem...
It runs fine on cloth map, but its just so bland that I don't get any enjoyment out of it. I defrag once a week at night, I think I am going to get the registry cleaner. I am hoping for a new laptop soon anyways... soo....
I would rather not play on Clot Map mode if I do not have to. My PCs specs are more than the recommended spec and I still get really crappy frame rate issues even on the lowest settings with all un-necessary turned off. Any tips, because I hate having to play on clot map mode.... I know how the OP feels about the path finding functions, they are awful. I would like to see a nightly build or something update it so it could include a line to show how your unit is getting there and how long it will take.
I am going to try and stick around then, I was just disappointed because I wanted to remember MoM.
1.1 is stable. It's not strategically playable yet.
So my money is wasted until spring, when the expansion comes out? I am disappoint.
Quoting Emperor_Nero, reply 2Does it make it playable? Like I can play for more than five turns without getting frustrated at the lag and quit? Civ 5 is like that...buggy, laggy and many people crashing. Is that why you ask? With Elemental, I've played straight for 4 hours the other night...hundreds of turns..without a single crash. Especially with v1.1. Also, if you purchase Elemental before 1 Jan 2

I purchased this game today at Wal-Mart for 30 bucks and I got it home and tried to play it some. It has been, so far, totally unplayable. I tried to update it and the Impulse software cut my download speed of 1/3 of what it should have been downloading at. I bought this in hopes that it would be a modern equivalent of MoM because I loved that game and sunk so many hours in. I have more than the recommended specs and the game still plays terribly slow, they're are huge chunks of my map that a
