Forgive me if this was said already, or is already possible, I have only been playing two days. But I haven't seen a way to do this, so I would like to put it out there. When your capture a city it would be nice if you had an option to destroy it, instead of just taking it over. Why, because the city may not be in a strategic position that I like, or I may just not want another city. I would like that option...

There would definitely be a rush factor, if you only have a character for so many turns then you have to rush to make them powerful and use them in combat before they keel over.
There are many games that disagree with you... The total war series for one, nobody rushes in these game, and the hero's or Generals age and die. In all depends on how it's handled... if there enough things to level
On the more recent PC Gamer podcast I think Troy Goodfellow said it best: Elemental is boring. And although Version 1.2 or some other version might be worthwhile, right now the game isn't fun for me to play. But more importantly, Stardock has lost my faith. I'm a new Stardock customer, someone who heard about their PC software for years but never tried any of it. And in the last six months I've spent at least a couple of hundred dollars on games a
I agree with this, I think the whole battle system could use some improvements to a degree.
I haven't played the game before patch 1.1, but that game seems pretty stable and fun to me. I get a crash every now and then, but I just load up my auto-save and I'm good to go. There are some things that need to be improved still, AI for one, but it seems like Stardock is doing a heck of a job bringing this game up to par.
They are far from useless or eyecandy. They are fugly little runts, but they are essentially free imbued champions, able to cast every spell without having to pay an upkeep to do so. Get a big enough line with a lot of sons and you can make an army of spell casters. I definitely agree with adding more to them, like arranged marriages with other champions or whatever, but I absolutely never want to see any units dyin
Would love to see this added, right now the kids are just useless eye-candy. But as for # 3, I would rather there be aging, with the ability for the sovereign to die. To counter your fear, just make it so the player can choose who becomes the next sovereign so you are bound to have at-least 1 good character to choose. That or make it so the oldest born Son is the new sovereign , or oldest daughter if no Son is present, or oldest Brother / Sister, if no child is present. That way you at-

There you have the option of selecting possible matches. The married couple will then randomly join you or the AI.
Thanks! 1. Well I think that is a shame really, would love for them to grow old a die, and then pass to the nearest oldest son, or daughter if no son is present. Or the ability t
Hi, I just started playing Elemental today, so forgive me if something I say is incorrect. I'm actually finding Elemental pretty fun, but there are some things I was wondering about and ideas I think would be nice if included. 1. Do Sovereigns live forever? 2. How do you marry off offspring's, can they marry regular NPC's like the Sovereign? IDEAS: ~NPC's~ I think that the NPC's that give bonuses to your cities, lik
You have the game registered correct? When I installed the game, I checked for an update it said over 2GB but once I registered the game it said 234MB going from 1.00 to 1.10.
Hello, I'm also new to Elemental WOM, I just bought the game which should be in my hands by tomorrow. Can't wait to play... EDIT: Forgot to tell you, good luck. [e digicons][/e]
