Hello there, back in the days I was a great fan of LOMSE and I read about the project with great interest. I have a few ideas, but since I have nothing to do with modding at all, I do not know if they would be feasible at all... That said, here's a few points: 1. I wondered if one could implement the distinction between the three different "professions" (thief, warrior, mage) in a way that is not simply adding souvereign personalities. I more or less thought of a "
When casting a buff on an npc, please allow players to select multiple npc's at one time instead of having to cast the same buff over and over again.
I second this. Annoys me every time and should be easily implemented (I guess).

@Borg999 and Takkik: I did not want to offend anyone. Just as some people mentioned before I rarely had the problem. But this might depend on playing-style and faction as you correctly pointed out... I also have not played many games above "challenging" for AI, but I did play a couple on "insane" for monsters and only then did I occasionally have the problem of take-over (usually they will either kill my only city and I have to start a new game or I will have a strong enough army to p

I think it would even add more depth if it would (indirectly) effect the XP all other "normal" units of a party get. I think it is not doing that at the moment. I also think in the beginning the "choice" is meaningful EXACTLY because it is three traits and not only one. This means that you have to weight the benefits of three more useful early traits against the potential of levelling faster. My only problem with this is that my heroes cannot die. Therefore I will choose the XP traits
My 2 cents (to recap) is this: 1. Getting the AI to summon things effectively is a lot of work. 2. The current balance doesn't make summoning that effective a strategy. Therefore, I'd like to see summoning boosted substantially. In tactical battle, I think you should be able to summon multiples. You could have each additional summon cost more mana than the last. I think that alon

Is the issue really THIS serious? I agree on the salted tile, but usually I clean up the lairs first. If you afterwards do not protect your city...sorry! Sometimes it also works to "claim" the land first with an outpost (rarely attacked by monsters) and settle later. I have to admit though that a "some-monsters-have-infested-your-city-and-grow-there-until-you-do-something-about-it"-event sounds pretty cool...I just wonder if the AI will be able to handle it: First, what happens if the AI take

I second that a "recorder" might be desirable...I also have some ideas about how this might work. I am not much into programming, so I do not know if it would work in practice or not (and I also do not know the mechanics in GalCiv and, shame on me, I actually did not test the beta of LH yet). Here is my naive ideas: 1. let the game reserve some resources for a "recorder" (say 2-5GB on your hard-drive) 2. set a number of games the game is "watching" 3. let the AI evalua

I am very sorry for repetitions (I read until page 4 and then gave up...). I try to concentrate on "playability glitches": 1. Auto-select next unit and select next unit manually never works well and if it does in one turn it does not in the next...And camera movement in this case is unpredictable. Very often somebody tells me I found something, but when I want to add it to the used equipment, camera and cursor have already moved to the next unit. 2. Treaties. I never seem to b
I avoid Steam if I can, because it's far too DRMy for me. It's really annoying to have to logout of my low end PC and login to my Gaming PC on steam just because it gags if you're logged in on more than one system at once. That said, it's almost bloody impossible to completely stay off Steam, the new OTRSPOD game is exclusive to steam and xbox, for example. If a game is available on PS3 or Vita instead of Steam, I'll buy it there

As a total noob to Elemental, just a few impression regarding city management after one (long) night of playing. In principle I agree most with:
ALL buildings ought to be upgradeable. Upgrading an existing building costs: [...]
A basic question that occured: Why is city management so complicated? And why do most people here seem to try to make it even more complicated (admittedly with lots of
