True, it is rather annoying to find an enemy city every 3 sqaures and they don't have the soldiers to defend them all and you don't have the soldiers to take them all.

I try not too expand fast, i research warfare/conquest to the point i have leather armor, build some gaurds, then head out exploring and settling. These mobs of monsters attack me before I even find another hero. I hate when games end to quickly, and these groups of spiders keep destroying me, making games end quickly. I only recently started partaking in tactical battles, I usually let them auto resolve... but felt I was missing out on something. I hired dragons once and de
This looks like fun
i had not realized that... alright, i withdraw my suggestion.[e digicons][/e]
Hereos, except your offspring, are all human. I find it weird when you are playing as a non-human race, especially as an empire (enemies of men if you remember), and only able to hire heroes from the races of men. Would it be possible to have non-human heroes in the next version or be able to create your own heroes?
Hm... alot to think about there. I definetley agree with the inn stuff. Why should we pay a business to stay in business? I know you said that but I feel it bears repeating, it has been a thorn in my side especially before 1.1 when I couldn't find a gold mine and had cities that were losing my gold. Not much of a problem now that we collect taxes from our citizens... but having that extra gold and not handing it over to the inn would be useful for soldiers. I ag
I also don't focus much on trade except when I need food somewhere, but I also believe trade is often underdeveloped in games which is why I put those ideas forward. Having a direct influence in your trade and economically taking over the world/galaxy/nation appeals to quite a few people I know, and I am pretty sure it appeals to quite a few people over the world. But that is certainly a feasible idea, and I would have no disagreement if that was used.
I can't find anything about this, and I'm not sure where to put this. I have run into a slight problem. The update from v1.1 that enables monsters to band together AND attack settlements keeps biting me in the hindquarters. I'll either start a game with an army of bad guys next to me who attack my settlement when I only have my soveriegn to defend my settlement, and I lose almost every time, or I start a settlement with a pioneer and lose it to an attack also.
Bieng able to hire a small discreet faction would be neat. One idea, may not be easy to do or well liked, but I think we should be able to send armies to protect caravans. This may need clarification. Being able to assign a group of soldiers to a caravan route to defend it would be useful, meaning that if an AI decides to attack a caravan, they have to fight whatever soldiers are 'patroling' the route. OR Assigning soldiers to defend the caravan itself as i
