Oh dear, I didn't know that there was a specific thread for modding questions...I've just posted question threads in the Mods forum as occurred to me. Did I do wrong then? I apologize, I'm sure.
No that's fine.
speaking of which, would you guys be willing to give up the rotating camera in LH in exchange for a massive boost in performance and visual quality?
Seems i'm the only one... but I kinda like the rotating camera. If it really bugs you... maybe maybe edit that xml you posted (from vs_UnitType_Overwrite.xml)... change... +10 Attack vs Dragons unless user is Dragon to (unless user is Dragon) and then -10 Attack vs Dragons to . That'd shou
I would have thought LH would run ok with that. Options to disable would be the Character & Other Outlines, Pedestrians, Dynamic Shadows. Turn off Anti Aliasing. Under Advanced set Groundcover to None. Maybe turn off Styalizede Lighting. Playing zoomed out to the cloth map as much as possible in strategic mode would also help probably.

Really interesting stuff... I like it. Great icons. Couple of feedback things.... > Stubborn: Unit becomes invulnerable for 3 turn. (UC) Sounds rather powerful as a unit trait if you can give this to all trained units? I get that you have to sacrifice a turn to use it but if you combined it with a +init trait of some sort to get in first I think the AI would really struggle to deal with it. I like the
Good resource, nice work.
webusver - I copied that SummonFamiliar spell to my Mod folder (just that file nothing else from your mod).... and it works fine. I just have D&W plus your SummonFamiliar. It costs 1 SummonPool as expected. So your code for that spell is correct. I'm not sure why it would be deducting 2 Summon Pool for you. Do all summon spells cost 2 or only this new one?
Definitely the Resoln faction
They're probably my favorite actually... I agree with you on the Dodge... I don't really like that as a racial bonus... but I like the interesting extra units, Spiders and the binding demons. Not that they're all that great... but they're fun. [e digicons][/e]
Also I can summon even if I have -1 summon pool. Is this a feature of Demons and Wizards mod or my mistake?
If you have included extra copies of my SpellDefs in your mod that would probably cause this.
Seeing unit designs and tech trees go is a bit of a let-down.
For what it's worth I agree with this. I like the unit design, something new for fantasy strategy... it's not perfect by any means but it's a great concept.. lots of fun. I'd be more excited about a new game that is more like LH and less like AoW/MoM. I really dig the unique blend that LH has.... 4x fantasy st

Doesn't look like it worked for you, here's another version to try... it's very high contrast (ugly looking for me): https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/100348448/TileSelectionTexture_Tactical.dds.test Try saving that one. Hi guys, Yep i'm still around kinda in lurk mode currently... took a bit of a break for a few weeks but i'm around. The gfx files are available still there's another post in that thread where I included new info (there 2 versions you can try now), but in any case here it is: *** If anyone want so try these, here are the new links to the two files: High Contract version: <a href="https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com
Yeah true. If it helps the troubleshooting process, I don't seem to be getting crashing.. i'm on Win 7 64 bit with 6GB RAM. Radeon HD5800 Gfx card. Seems to be ok even with huge maps.
I just played about 20 turns as a test (huge map 9 opponents), saved a couple of times and it seems ok for me.
Never played WoM, was looking forward to it when it was in development but when after it came out with all the reviews I never got round to trying it. I don't see why you'd go back there when you have a great game in FE:LH. Better off creating another FE expansion, or even FE2.... and add Dynasties to FE.... or minor factions or air units, naval, wandering heroes etc. I'd sign up for FE2 or another FE expansion tomorrow but have little interest in WoM directo
Were they the same races as the ones we have now? So maybe like a single Trog city or something?
Hi all, Question for any of the guys who been here long enough... From reading some really old threads (from WOM), I am led to believe there was some sort of minor race / minor faction concept... presumably a bit like that in GalCiv2. I'm just curious how it worked, what was good/bad about it... and why it was dropped ? Cheers.
Thanks 6357brussell, glad you like it.... I appreciate the feedback [e digicons][/e] I've had a bit of help with the last major update so it's a credit to those guys too. Got some more stuff in the works that will hopefully see the light of day at some point.
What do you think? Would you buy such DLC?
Sounds good. Yes i'd buy it.
Also just another random thing to try, disable Mods (in the Options)... then start the game..... exit, turn Mods back on in the options and try again.
Yeah like parrottmath says, just for a sanity check... copy the D&W Gfx folder to the core Gfx folder and check that it works from there.
