people good god would you stop bitching, I mean the fact that they are working on this game and up holding there promis is more then what most publishers and developers do. but hey I wont bother I'll instead just play the game a post a semi constructive topic about works and what doesnt work
I said it before and will say it again if they stopped updating and working on wom I will not only be pissed that I spent 40 bucks on a game that is not complete and will also be be dissappointed that stardock left wom to wither and die, please stardock continue working on wom, the game is very different from when it first came out dont give up !
could careless theby will say how when the time comes
I will still pall wom frogboy after all I payed forty dollers for it and it has and will not go to waste.
hey thanks stardock as always your dedication to your fans and supporting the game is the whole reasion why I got war of magic in this first place, I am going to try my first game with this beta patch installed today.
good stuff I am so glad you guys continue to work on this game desipite fe being the focus media wise
let me put my position as crystal clear as possible I spent damn well near 50 bucks on this game looking forward to see were stardock takes WOM, I will be INCREDIBLY pissed off if it turns out that stardock abandons WOM for FE, please dont stop at 1.3, as was posted above this game can certainly be fun it only need a few thinks in it thanks for listening and keep up the good work stardock, especially you brad, the amount of work you ha
haha sorry if the game is fun go ahead hows the campaign
running on a nividia 8200 gm I have had no graphical hiccups, slow downs, there were two major freezes that caused me to d a hard shut down, but I think that may have to do with my os,vista 64 bit has been giving lots of trouble, the only time I do have slow downs is when I bump up the shadows to highm but then thats normal (8200 gm has a hard time rendering shadows). outside of graphics everything works fine, but then I just got the game and updated it as soon as
wow.. well with the amount of time you guys are improving WOM I understand why mp is put on the back burner, still good to see it hasent beent forgotten in all honesty I bought this game to see were stardock will take it and so far I am impressed, looking forwar to see what else happens
age of magic is also a great series to look into diciples series (1 and two not sure about three) theres alway the civializaton games , but thats a given age of empires-also thats a given
EA is also known for lying about game DRM, has rather poor customer support and as has been stated previously none of there games have any depth also they are running a monoply by buying out companies, EA really tis just a publisher with many subdivisions, most of these subdivisions previously independent companies that were boughout and slowly were integrated into EA (i.e maxis westwood, bullf
oh I know, if my processor which is a amd turion dule-core rmt-700 cant run it then I am sunk, but judging from what I saw it should be fine,
One big question I have is this: will the system requirements be the same as wom, I really hope so since I am playing wom on a laptop with an nivida 8200, and it would seriously suck people like me with there crappy computer got the game free or for a discount only to find out that they could not run it.
yeah I know, I was just thinking or breakthrough durations I actually like normally pacing but waiting sevetn turns at the beginning just to do something is a bit frustrating. and by something I mean reaserching spells building an army doing some diplomacy
currently the amount of turns it takes for any beginner to get a new technology without any bonuses is about 17 to 19 turns, while I understand this amount of time was similer in galciv, you could easily turn up reseach in the city budget menu here you have no options. I propose a significant decrees in the amount of turns before a breakthrough..at leaat in thhe beginning of the game , this way the player can get to actually building an armory. however
I agree with the review still got some rough spots but is more polished then when it came out, it was amazing how diffrent the game felt after I fully patched it I still think the ui coul be a little more intuitive, but then it could be just me since I just got the game and have not learned all the hot keys yet [e digicons]:bebi:[/e]
On a completely different note, I bought this game today, and while I was having a mild panic attack on spending over 40 buck (I'm a poor collage student you see) I don't regret it this is a fun game and I am happy that I bought it instead of trying to pirate it. p.s one good thing about the initial release version pirates are stuck with it XD anyways keep up the good work brad
then pthe problem is the amount of complaining that lacks any form of constructive input, perhaps suggest something instead of say how you think this game sucks compared to the prepatched version
wow... it could be that the box information was written prior to them taking it out since if you read the posts about the bet they stated that mulitplayer was painfully boring and so it was likely scraped only later to be reimplemented. also incase you havent updated your games do so, and then stop whining
