Update: Purge ran, did not force restart. Restarted, and installed trial version from /products; activated. It's an option under All Programs-->Stardock-->Groupy, but it still can't be found from Object Desktop manager even though listed, I can live with it. Thanks!

Yes, it was reassigned to a partition on Drive C. Now I have a "Local Disk E" that's empty. Given that I need a new computer, and with all that's happening with Secure boot cert, I don't want to try and reassign that letter. The link ... /myaccount/products only shows OD flavors, Cursor Effects Plus and Start 10. I will try purging. Thanks.

Good Day My subscription OD-0174974-OEM-3623434530 is active until Sept 2027. Windows update of 6/10/26 reassigned drive letters and the external drive that contains my work folders is no longer accessible via Groupy 2. Following advice in this forum I uninstalled Groupy 2 intending ti reinstall it. Object Desktop manafer shows it listed, but when "open" is clicked the software responds that it needs to be reinstalled. I've downloaded Object Desktop manager and reinstalled

Dear Stardock Team, I've been a subscriber for over 10 years. Ever since I discovered Stardock/Wincustomize I've been extremely pleased with the quality and support provided with your product suite. Windowblinds, etc., alleviates the tedium of online tasks. On top of my list of to-dos, I was unsuccessful attempting to use a single mouse/keyboard for both desktop and PC. Despite claims of other utilities, they for some reason could never f

The artists, past and present, who have contributed here remind me of a jazz ensemble. Each has a unique voice, yet all complement each other to produce exciting, original works. I said some years ago that I wanted to be among the skinners. Well, priorities haven't worked in my favor yet... but I have gained some expertise with DAZ Studio, and that figures into a very important project I'm working on. So I've made good on at least one of my aspirations. My cont

Hello, Over the last 6 months I've noticed Adobe Acrobat Reader DC has lost the minimize/maximize/close buttons. [Windows 10] I have to right-click to get those options. It seems the buttons disappear when the document gets skinned. I tried excluding skinning for the reader app but that goes unacknowledged. A minor issue, bugs the most when my monitors hibernate; then I have to search for a tiny resized window in monitor 1 and fish it out with a combination of

Thanks basj, the purge and reinstall worked, although I still have trouble with some sliders, but the one I really care about (size [e digicons]B)[/e] ) is satisfactory. Opportunities to learn...another reason to love OD! EDIT: re: trouble with sliders...the problem turned out to be a hardware issue with the mouse, solved with replacement. Left button died.

Hi, My subscriptions to Wincustomize and Stardock still have 200+ days remaining; I have Object Desktop, and my CursorFX 4 download responded that activation was successful with that product key, yet Settings are not modifiable for me.

I am very grateful for everyone's contribution and I hope skinning will continue to be an option on future Windows versions, even if not automatically applied. It is one precious escape and I like originality. My skill level at skinning (indeed all graphic arts) is advancing at a glacial pace, but it is advancing. (i.e. trying to gain dexterity with DAZ 3D and Renderosity for another project is among many aspirations...) I'd like to add my appreciation for all the recently donated ski

Not only did Edge freeze up but it affected my mouse's ability to scroll! CursorFX is working fine, I have full control over it. But the damn browser won't let it do it's thing. I blame MS......again! [e digicons][/e] [e digicons][/e] [/quote] Same here. Restarted and still navigation jacked. S

I've been a member for four years and I feel the value far exceeds the cost. Aside from the aesthetic qualities you can choose widgets or desktops that enhance productivity, making it easier to get to things. You don't have to purchase a premium skin. I've collected more than 100 skins and am still discovering new ones. You can learn a lot about Win internals if you're into that. Customizing and get

Thanks so much for the cnet warnings. It is indeed disappointing. I had a browser hijack experience about 6 mths ago, and wasn't sure if it was due to the domain admin provider of a certain client I was consulting (located offshore - triggering IE security certificate alerts) or visiting a certain site (now forgotten, sorry) with chrome. (And no, it wasn't a "naughty" one...) [e digicons];)[/e] Usually I like to solve these issues myself. Obtained a "spyhunter" cleaner which

"5 Cold Realities" may be common sense, but (as Charlie "Bird" Parker once said) "If you don't live it, it won't come out your horn." When you lose capital, all you have left is sweat equity. And if you don't invest the sweat, capital alone won't get you there. So I don't see how one trumps the other
