Update: Purge ran, did not force restart. Restarted, and installed trial version from /products; activated. It's an option under All Programs-->Stardock-->Groupy, but it still can't be found from Object Desktop manager even though listed, I can live with it. Thanks!
Yes, it was reassigned to a partition on Drive C. Now I have a "Local Disk E" that's empty. Given that I need a new computer, and with all that's happening with Secure boot cert, I don't want to try and reassign that letter. The link ... /myaccount/products only shows OD flavors, Cursor Effects Plus and Start 10. I will try purging. Thanks.
Good Day My subscription OD-0174974-OEM-3623434530 is active until Sept 2027. Windows update of 6/10/26 reassigned drive letters and the external drive that contains my work folders is no longer accessible via Groupy 2. Following advice in this forum I uninstalled Groupy 2 intending ti reinstall it. Hello, Over the last 6 months I've noticed Adobe Acrobat Reader DC has lost the minimize/maximize/close buttons. [Windows 10] I have to right-click to get those options. It seems the buttons disappear when the document gets skinned. I tried excluding skinning for the reader app but that goes unacknowledged. Hi, My subscriptions to Wincustomize and Stardock still have 200+ days remaining; I have Object Desktop, and my CursorFX 4 download responded that activation was successful with that product key, yet Settings are not modifiable for me.
I am very grateful for everyone's contribution and I hope skinning will continue to be an option on future Windows versions, even if not automatically applied. It is one precious escape and I like originality. My skill level at skinning (indeed all graphic arts) is advancing at a glacial pace, but it is advancing. Just discovered the CFX issue appears with the older cursors (apparently). For example, ms edge won't work with Lightsaber Pro (have to do the temporary deactivation) but will work with Nemesis FX. This is the only exception I've found from the cursors I have, so far.
