Updated to v1.1, which wiped out my saves from a previous version. Drat - but okay. Played for 4 hours then saved. Now when I go to the load screen all of the save games (including the autosaves) say v1.02. This is bad because you can't load such a game. So when you save, make sure it saves it as the right version. Perhaps I should have rebooted after updating?

Just checked - think I know what is going wrong. Even though I updated to v1.1 before starting the game, the previous saves were saved as v1.02 for some reason. Now when I start another new game and save it, it says v1.1 on the popup for the save game like it should. Guess I am screwed.

Started new game with V1.1 tonight. Played for about 4 hours. Great fun. Then I save the game and exit out. Now when I try to restore the game, FE crashes. So I try the two autosaves. Same deal. I think the main problem for me is that I can never get any units better than Destiny's Guard and they are about as strong as wet cardboard. No matter the difficulty level, the AI out-expands me, out researches me, out produces me and out units me.
