Pretty common when playing full screen in games to have errors and issues with Alt tabbing. Thats not to say it's not an issue with elemental.. just that if you expect to be doing multiple things the best thing to do with just about any game is play in windowed mode with the window size set to take up the full screen.
To be honest i don't think you'll see a demo for Ewom. Your far more likely to see one for fallen enchantress. Purely an educated guess, but my advice to any potential buyers at this point would be wait for fallen enchantress anyway. When looking at a game with an upcoming standalone expansion its almost always best to wait and just buy the standalone.

If your complaining about lack of stability in a beta patch.. thats going through open testing for stability then i'm really not sure what your beef is. my 2 cents on this subject.. no one asked for it but i freely give it. [e digicons]O:)[/e] The lack of mods is mainly due to a few core issues.
This was an even bigger deal in the modding world where we had very limited capabilities and resources. It wasn't just about coming up with a great idea for a mod, but coming up with an idea that was implementable. There were so many grand ideas that could never be done, and so many dull ideas that could be done, but no one wants to create a dull mod. The hardest part of design is finding an idea that fits both criteria.
I swear you've read some of my

What fact is that? How many things can you name of the "crazy BS PC publishers come up with" that made it onto consoles? The only reason they didn't bother with serial numbers before is because the consoles themselves are physical forms of protection (wh

Can we all please just accept that each platfrom has its own strengths and weaknesses, and move on? Who gives a **** who did
I hate to say it but it is rather valid. DRM HAS to be on the list of things you research before you purchase a game. With the number of hoops we are expected to jump through for some drm systems, a person should really check to see if they are willing and able to jump through those hoops before buying a game. Its sad that gaming has gotten to this point but it is what it is. Many games I eagerly wanted to get my hands on have decided to use what I conside

I've never known an integrated yet to have VRAM of its own; that's kind of the point of it being integrated. RTS and TBS have tended to ignore the co-op outside of skirmish modes for the most part. Similar to the way FPS used to ignore it other than death matches. I will say when making a campaign mode(be it a mod or a released title) its far easier when you can ignore the co-op aspect. Not that it can't be done... but in general I think designers view the campaign as a persons introduction to the game for those particular genres.. with sandbox/skirmish/deathmatch being the "meat" of the gam

Simple mods can be made by anyone.. and there are very little limitations for the advanced mod makers. I own all the games in the series and nwn is my preferred
IMO to sum it up. Your major problems seem to be with the way your setting up the game and researching techs. If the AI has way more def.. its because they researched armor techs and you didn't. If the map is too big.. play on a smaller map, if there's no creatures to kill pump up the map difficulty , if you want to explore more ruins work on adventure tech etc. I will agree the game has issues overall holding my interest.. but I can't really agree on your reasons.

Many people lack in their understanding of history and that was in response to what you said to me first. In case you didn't realize that. Also, calling the way someone is acting as childish or obstinate again is not a personal attack on you. Your actions and who you are as a person are two different things. We can all act foolishly, childish, arrogant, et
