I have this error too. However, The out of memory crash will occur ever 20 min to two hours. Its as simple as saving frequently, then going out back and beating the hell out of the wood pile when I have to take over an empire.. again. Note: I have only seen the "out of memory" box 27 times since 1.09e was installed on my mashien, but the timed crash keeps occuring.
I get an error every 20 min to 2 hours. It's a simple box that reads out of memory, this also crashes the game. Solution, save after EVERYTHING.
Oh my god.... Look the game is already complex enough, though there is one way to improve it tat wouldn't take a player a long time to figure out how to get his troops better swords. Simply increase the amount of resources mined, as the city levels up. This makes no sense, "My lord! We have two thousand people in this city, there is no more advancements we can make as a civilization, and I'm happy to report that the amount of gold we can min has never increased once!"</
The 12K sword? You can afford it with 7 gold mines, no armies extensive trading for Gold in 800 turns. It is worthless. Just find "A Humble Inn" a level 0 quest. Take it, get the 3 midnight stones and take the +1 longsword you get from it. I have never seen it do under 21 damage, regardless of who wields it.
is there any way around the bug?
Im on the Campaign with Relis... and Ive run into an issue. Im at the point where im supposed to give 25 crystal to the millitary, I cant figure out how. Caravans, dont work. Trading the sovereign 25 crystal.. dosent work... What do you do?
