I really dislike where the magic system is going, however I do like the specialist system. I like the idea of having the magic system more closely tied to the stats rather than just 'fulfilling' a necessary requirement of a spell. Is there a way to make the game where we can use the current magic system or combine the new system with the old (making it so that global enchantments draw from a global pool powered by cities, and the initial casting cost comes from the individua

Well, that presents another problem: I currently don't have anything large enough to download 2 gigs worth of data. Oh well. . . guess its off to find a larger thumb drive (or hauling my rig to the campus library. . .). A good question to ask before I pursue either of the above options would be: Can the downloads
Is there anyway around downloading updates from the Impulse software? Sadly I do not have internet at home and the only way to get updates for the game is at the library. Installing the Impulse software on these computers is impossible. If there is some place I can just grab .exe files for updates that would be excellent. P.S. I wasn't certain whether this should be posted in the general forum or the support forum.
