i get this glitch but mostly with research. its rather annoying. it scared me the first time. it would do the hour glass thing when the game was about to crash. so i keep thinking it was taking to long to updated and was about to crash.. since the beta i have had alot less crashes. so if the cursor glitches ill take that over the game crashing..

Figured. I didn't play beta at all so I missed out on all the tricks. Thankfully Stardock emailed me letting me know the released LH. I fell off during the FE Beta's. Anyway way off subject. IMHO I think that pioneers are good they way they are. I have no real issues with population and I do drop a lot of outposts. There is definitely more pressing matters.
I still have no clue what the pioneer exploit is.
Exactly near the end of the game I can build an unlimited amount of Pioneers. And even before then, I still drop Outposts. The population is well worth the increased Iron or Crystal per turn.
Look's Amazing! Looking forward to the update. As far as MP goes, would have been cool but no worries. Thanks for the constant updates. Will continue to support. As far as whats next. Again I may be alone here and I have said things in the forums. I think there should be an option for perm death of Heroes and even the Sovereign after so many Deaths.I thought it worked in EWOM and with the current system of how you obtain heroes, it would work even better here. and again it could b
also forgot there is a mod called necromancy extended or something similar to that. its not a race but it gives you the option to make a more or less undead faction. you could try looking into that if you want to play a faction that can produce undead from the cities.
havent found much as far as modding tuturials for creating custon races. just have to go throught the code and try and figure it out. ill try that over the next few days and possibly write something up.
unless i dont have a choice i always have a mage or commander. i like commanders for thiers buffs to the entire army the accuraciy and init bonus is amazing also being able to make a unittake a turn instantly is awesome and mages well just destroy everything. the two melee classes warrior and assasin are just not good late game. they dont nearly do as much damage as a trained unit. also seem to die more than trained units. i have not tried the assasin solo thing just yet but thats not really
mana will be used for mostly city and unit enchants. spells will be more or less abilities that the diferent classes will gain access to. i havent mod'ed the classes just yet. been focusing on items and balancing that. my next big goal will be implementing dnd monsters. when i get to the classes and spells, which i am sure will take alot of testing and balancing, ill start posting videos of the mod. hopefully this will make classes other than the mage be more useful.
just thought of another alternative if you dont like the idea of perm death but whatabout as well as an injury heroes lose exp points and depending possibly levels. that would make heroes feel more mortal. just at the current state i feel that i can have a hero die and not be to pissed about it. i know the games is called legendary heroes and our heroes should be just that. just an opinion. if i could mod mortal heroes i would do that. there should be an option or something.
i did not know that about the accessories. thats really cool. thanks.
noted. seems it is split on perm death. heroes should be the symbol of power in your army but making them mortal would not make it easier to steam roll another faction. because you heroes would be mortal as well. if your enimy snipes your hero you'd feel it in the long run. just like if you wiped out their main stack.
grr just realized mancers are capitar sorry always make a custom sov/faction
not sure if it is just capitars pioneers that can build roads. i play mancers and i build roads with my pioneers prior to the tech unlock for roads to cities. i do that just so i can move my pioneers away from a moster lair quickly and i never have to stop them next to one. nothing worse than losing thirty population to a pack of bandits or whatever while im going to grab my next city.
i do the same thing ill get up mid my turn leaving the game running for hours while i run errands and come back to it. even late game i like to move alot of my units around and have control over the entire game. i used to put units on auto explore but i lost alot of armies that way. they like to wonder into epic packs sometimes. that is interesting tho. because when i end my turn thiers is almost instant.
got it thanks.
alright trying to add a feature to make some forms of damage do extra damage to a creature. like say light damage deal more damage to undead? i was thinking i had to give them a negative defense to that form of damage was wondering if there is an easier way.
if thebrought back dynasties they should do something like you can pass your kingdom off to the next heir if your soveriegn dies. i remember losing a game of wom because my soverien died and i thought it was odd because my children could take over.
indeed. i played a game the other day on hard/hard and found a ai that had no cities it was the sovreign and his starting troops just wondering. it may have settled and lost its capital to a monster stack? not sure but that is prime example that the ai doesnt know how to handle its heroes of cities. i find myself sniping the enemies heroes alot also. it would be nice if they didnt just get an injury. but you make a very valid point. and at this point it would not be wise to kill off heroes if
Sorry for the back to back postings. but maybe the world difficulty could scale the % a hero has the chance to die. i think heroes would need to be slightly more powerful to balance this out and make them worth using even with the chance of perm death. i believe frogboy posted somewhere saying this was more on how you build your empire/kingdom rather than your tactics that ultimately determine your victory. it would just be nice to know that how i engage each battle can make a huge diferance
i'd still use heroes if per death was an option but id pick my battles if i know for a fact im going to lose my force i wont fight if i dont have too. even the soveriegn should be able to "die" i like the idea of a set amount of many to escape back to the capital. but say you dont have that mana, wouldnt you be stuck in combat and die? just a thought
that was one thing from e:wom i miss. that hero death was perminate. made you take better care of you heroes. Miss that and dynasties. also funny seeing an enemy hero with like ten injuries on it.
I have modded in hide and studded leather into my current mod to do that very thing i wanted an armor with slightly more defense than leather and have added those two. i had also contemplated adding in magical leather and the drake idea to bridge the gap even more. been modding a bunch of new items. The core game does nedd a better way of handling the gap tho.
I wasnt sure if they completely removed it or not. thank you for all the help. i really do appreciate it.
Got it. I've been modding a majority of the weapons anyway. To remove the core weapons without actually removing them from the core file is just need to Make the Item not equip-able and not obtainable correct? The range thing isn't that big of a deal though. I also see they removed the weight of equipment. Can I re add the weight and add an encumbrance that slows down both moves and initiative? I haven't seen anything that really does this and would like to add this feature. As fa
