I'm cleaning out my bookmarks and so I'm routinely going through and seeing which forums I go to are dead. I'm also finding out which forums I will be missed at if I leave. So, is this place dead? Will this forum ever make a come back? And if I were to leave this forum, would the community miss me? Also, by dead I mean that there is little or no activity.

Metro 2033 is an amazing game. I remember renting it for Xbox 360. I want to buy it really bad. Just check out the game's amazing trailer (HD): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xc2hhef-Nzo&hd=1

It isn't often that people discuss a video game that was canceled 11 years ago, but I've been meaning to make a thread about this game for quite some time now, and I'm finally done putting it off. Most of you probably never heard of Star Trek: Secret of Vulcan Fury, a PC game that was canceled in 1999. But this game had quite a bit of hype back in the day. I suppose one could compare it to the hype surrounding Call of Duty: Black Ops, though not quite as much hype as Black Ops, for obvious re

I've been considering making my own girls only gaming clan. This girls only clan would have a partner clan for males. We wouldn't require a name change for any of your in-game names, and you'd be allowed to be in other clans. It would be more like a community than a clan. The clan would be multi-platform, meaning it plays games on all of the consoles and for PC. This is a message to all you girls here. If I made a girls only clan, would you be interested in joining it? If so, please send me a

I finally finished making my Halo: Reach map, Race of Death. It took me several hours to make, but it's finally done. All that's left to do is test it, but none of my Xbox Live friends are online right now, so I can't do that. I've tested it on my own and it is possibly to beat, just very hard. It's not really a racing map, despite what the name says. I created the map entirely from scratch on my own, but I got the idea from an old Halo 3 custom map. It's an infection game, where h

Has anyone here ever seen Gattaca (1996)? I saw this movie about a year ago and it was probably one of the most inspirational and touching films I've ever seen. It's set in the near future where humanity has developed genetic engineering, and where people who aren't genetically modified are discriminated against by the government. However one unmodified human is det

I was playing Company of Heroes Online and after the longest time wondering, "did the Germans really have remote control land-mine tanks", I decided to look up "Goliath" on Wikipedia, and navigated my way to a page on Goliath tracked mines. I was shocked to see that the Germans had not only remote control technology, but they implemented it in warfare. The Goliaths were used to drive up to tanks, troops, or structures, and detonate, caus
SWAT 3 was pretty sweet. In fact, I loved all the SWAT games, even found SWAT 2 to be very fun and enjoyable (loved the music). I liked how in SWAT 3 you were your own character and had more control over your team then in SWAT 4. The situations were also a LOT more random and dynamic. For example, there was that one mission in the house where the guy would hide in closets and stuff. If you didn't clear it right then he'd pop up behind you or escap

Anyone here ever play SWAT 3? In my opinion, it's the greatest tactical first-person shooter ever. It was released in the late 1990s, and had really good graphics for it's time. The online play was amazing for this game, it was just like Battle.net (the original Battle.net, not Battle.net 2.0 which StarCraft II uses), with chat rooms, clans, custom games, and a lot of other features that Battle.net has. Sadly the online play was shutdown when Activision purchased and subsequently shutdown Sie

I saw a trailer for this on YouTube and thought it might be good. The movie is 'It's Kind of a Funny Story', and it's coming to theaters October 2010. It's about a depressed teen who decides to go to a mental institution, thinking that they can help him with his depression, but while he's there he meets a hot girl, and they fall in love. Oh, and don't worry, I already checked, it's not a Disney movie (thank God). Actually, now that I think about it, it primarily looks good because of the hot

Anyone here ever play Hidden & Dangerous 2 for PC? I remember a couple years ago I bought this game new from GameStop for like $2.99, I had no idea what it was about, but I bought it simply because it's so cheap. I still love this game. You command a squad of special forces soldiers during World War II, and unlike traditional World War II games, it's a tactical first-person shooter. Despite the game being released in 2003, it still has a lot of players who still play it online.

Has anyone here ever had a Jack Link's Lil' Chub? I love those things, it's my favorite. I remember a few years ago I got a 24 pack of those for Christmas, it was so awesome. I highly recommend them, they're amazing.

Anyone here play Company of Heroes Online? It's a free MMORTS game by Relic Entertainment. It's currently in open beta, and anyone can sign up to play. I've never played any Company of Heroes games before, but I started playing this one today and I love it. I was surprised to see that it didn't lag on my relatively old (2006) non high-end computer, and I was using the default graphics settings in the game. The game has both a single player campaign and online multiplayer. Also, RIP Brian Wood

Does anyone here play Army Commander? It's a free multiplayer online game that you can play in your web browser. In the game you create your own country and must manage your country's military, diplomacy, economy, espionage, etc. You can create an alliance in which nations ally themselves together for extra protection. The game even has it's own form of the United Nations where you can address the issues of your country to other players, and they can vote to declare an embargo, declare war, s

You should add a feature that lets you enter the e-mail addresses of your friends and if they have an account on your site, it will tell you and you can add them as a friend. Or if their friend(s) don't have an account on your site it will invite them to come join your site. Also, please make it so you could find/invite people on your site individually (enter one e-mail address at a time), in bulk (separate multiple e-mail addresses by commas or line breaks), or if you want, even allow users
