With the lack of "wild life", experience gaining exercises are kept to a very minimum for new troops and characters. Not sure of the fix there, but character development is one of the fun parts of the game and its fairly stunted right now. I have had two children "come of age" during the game so far. Both sport a 1 overland movement. Ridiculous and with experience hard to get, you can't really fix it.
A thousand times
Is there any particular reason this information isn't posted by Stardock? Why did I not know about an update until a community member posted in the forum?
On at about 200 turns on a new game with 1.08b since my old 450 turn game is no longer playable due to the 100% miss bug with spells (thanks for that). Windows vista 64, ATI Radeon 4670, 8gb ram, 2.2 quad core intel, 500gb HD. I have about 7 settlements and every faction I meet declares war on me withing 10 turns of my knowing them. Truthfully I don't mind that as I find it exciting and fun to have to build up my borders and create choke points with military settlements. The problem:<
With regards to the spell miss bug. I'm on a 450 turn game at this point and I don't really want to start a new game. There are a million and a half patches scheduled for the future. Am I going to have to start a new game every time a patch is released?
I'm having this issue as well. After 1.08, 100% of my tactical damage spells will not work. I invaded an enemy city with 4 magic users all level 8 or higher, with some troops, total attack power being 1200. I attacked their 600 attack power stationed army and almost got decimated as none of my spells would hit. Every single one of them missed.
