Version 1.08, didn't hire a hero of the opposite gender for a long time, finally did, got married, had 4 kids. Wife had drunk a few essence potions, Sov. had 160 odd essence, thanks to a large empire (large map) and many Temples of Essence. Our first child, a wonderful girl, reached adulthood. I was going to marry her off to Altar, to cement relations, but thought I should actually look at her stats first. She had Essence! Lots
