I was going to buy GW 2 after work, but now.....hmm.... [e digicons]:D[/e]

I think this is just another decision we have to made. Should the governor stay in city and the player will profit from his abilitys to manage the city/production or should we send the governor out to build roads. Could be fun...
Yes, this is needed and i´m sure before the release it will be in and we will read another comment from frogboy like this one...
Frogboy <ul class="stat
I havent attacked anyone and this guys keeps doing it.
Nobody is attacking you. But its hard to take you serious, when you use words like "unplayable". I played WoM (it was fun sometimes) and i have played FE since beta 1 for many, many hours and i love it. Reading your posts and reading words like "unplayable" makes me think you are a troll. Nothing less. Have you seen seawn3 or das123 Lets play videos? Does this look like unplayable to you? Its just no
Ohh...i love this.
Glow color of cities on empire tree color coded. Green means city is growing. Dark means it has reached its max population. Glow color of units on empire tree color coded. Green means they have moves left. Dark means they don't.
The difference is, that you have more time to deal with monsters, make quests, lvl. up champs and sov. and develop your citys. It gives you more time to play "your" game. Because of more space for everybody you can build troops or city improvements without thinking "Damn, i need a pioneer." You can discover a fertile spot and don´t have immediatly to build a pioneer, because the AI is around the corner. And at some point you have to fight the AI (unless you go for diploma
Pacing; Just seems off. The only sense of urgency I'm getting is the constant pressure to spam as many pioneers as possible, if you don't the whole world is soon covered with AI towns and outposts. Not only isn't this any fun, there's no strategy involved either.
I love the game, but i too don´t like that i´m forced to spam pioneers to get any ressources/fertile land without fighting the AI. I hope they will tweak this a
Should we as players go back to Fall from Heaven?
@darkehound Yes, pls. Do this. It seems that you don´t have fun with FE. So this is the best option for you...
Fantastic... [e digicons][/e]
It's actually fall from heaven II that I have loaded, it seems to be a very well made mod.
Yes, it is. I wish the guy, who did this mod, would be in charge for FE. Imagine what a game FE would be. What was his name? Derek ... Derek Paxton. ;)
Comparing Africa to a ravaged and destroyed world overrun by monsters is offensive in my opinion. They are not comparable and you are talking about established countries who have vast wealth which is mismanaged. In this case you are a wandering nomad who starts up a city for the first time. You should be able to make these distinctions with just a little bit of thought.
50/50 medium and large. World AI and Faction AI challenging, the rest is normal. Me + 3 other factions on medium maps and me + 5 other factions on large maps. This gives me time to expand before i have to deal with the AI, which is always expanding like hell.
Voted good. Excellent is for beta 5. ;) I like many of the changes: - the citybuilding/specialisation (but the auto/manual placement is not so great. But i dont have a better idea) - upgradeable outposts - all quests from the beginning. Now i can plan, which quest i will do next and what troops i need for that. - all the cosmetic (UI, spellbook, icons etc.) are fantastic Some things i don´t like: - on
I don´t have a prob. with the pacing in generally. But now with beta 4 on every ressource i build is in the queue. Before beta 4 it was only the ressource directly beside your city. That slows down city-development and building up military... At the moment i don´t like that. But i haven´t played much. Maybe i only have to get used to it.
wheeee....*downloading*
Sorry. I have a hard time realizing there is a world outside of my North American bubble.
To your excuse... Its a damn big bubble. [e digicons];P[/e]
*reading Justin Cronin "The Passage: A Novel" while waiting for the beta"* At the moment i have no interest in any other game. :) Hope we get it soon. And the book seems very good. I recommend it if you like postapocalyptic survival horror vampyr (no "twillight vamps" ) storys.
Can´t wait to try it out. :)
Regardless of what happens, FE is turning out to be a fantastic game and I'm really looking forward to putting in some time for beta 4.
Amen! :)
All the new Icons, the Spellbook, the clothmap ...it all looks very good. Is it really a COUPLE of weeks a away? C´mon. Tommorow i will buy win7 and upgrade my system 64bit (its true), only because of you frogboy. I deserve a new new beta build, dont you think? [e digicons];P[/e]
FE is different, but still not in a state that is "fun", certainly not one worth paying money for. But again, I seem to be in the minority here.
I think you are. [e digicons][/e] I would buy FE, even if beta 3 would be the release build. I had a lot of fun with it and played (no work) many hours. The only reason why i stopped playing FE Beta 3 is because of Beta 4. I´m sure this will make it even better. Get FE, if you like good TBS games. [
Don't laugh.
Why not? Do you think there will be no games without big publishers?
This malaise affects the whole gaming industry, not just EA.
I hope so!
Activision-Blizzard is starting to show weakness. This is after Diablo 3 and right before the HOTS expansion for Starcraft2.
Yes and thats no surprise. Maybe D3 is a good game. I don´t know. I haven´t played it. (there is
