That sounds great. I think both (one or two click) options are great and if the problem with the cpu cost is not too expensive i would prefer Vallu751's idea. Additionally I think it is most important to see the number of turns the unit will travel and the segments of each turn.

I really think the biggest problem with state of the art homecinema 3D is that the resolution is cut to the half. Additionally some user are really sensitive to so called motion- or cybersickness. For that people 3D isn't a good experience at all. There even is a problem if sometimes producers experiment too much with the virtual camera distance and you get a headache from that. Eg. in Age of Wonders you where able to invert selection by just right clicking which was a really useful and basic UI feature. Good idea! Additional to that I think it should be possible to select the unit on that you want to cast the enchantment spell. Now I think the only way to be sure a specific unit out of an army will get the enchantment is to move the single unit out. It should be possible to select the unit or even multiple units out of an army on which you want to cast the spell.
I was looking for another post linke this because I had a similar post in minde. The UI should show the route a unit or army will take and the time as a preview before you click! Sometimes it is really necessary to know how long units will be on their way especially while playing a large map.
I never had the case that a Hero died because of age. Anybody had this?? (I don't think that this is bad or good :) I just wanted to know if anybody had the case that a unit was dying because of age)

I had this problems sometimes but now I just turn the camera to the top if my move is really important. Maybe it will help to activate "show grid" option? Maybe it whould help if a selected unit will automatically show it's trail and highlight it's destination square befor you have to click. It would additionally be nice if you will see the duration the unit will walk in turns in the preview. This would be a User Interface modification but it works for me with the top v
