I bought Elemental back when it came out, and got some good time out of it but it was easy to see that there were many problems, especially late game, for the price I paid I was content with the time I got out of it. Anyway, the reason for this post is to say thank you for giving me Fallen Enchantress at no charge, i'll admit I was pretty suprised you did it, in the 28 years I've been gaming I don't remember a time that a Dev team have done this, it's good to see

"For those who still blame steam for it's unfair regional prices please read this part of their wikipedia page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steam_(software)#Regional_restrictions_and_pricing " "Steam allows developers and publishers to change prices and restrict game availability depending on the user's location" <

The idea behind steam is great, but from an Australians perspective it pretty much a rippoff, I know it's not only steam that does this, but they are the biggest. For some reason us in Oz are required to pay up to 4 times as much as a resident in the US, no transport costs, no packaging or disk, no booklet/manual, even a free trade agreement, I've debated this on the Civ forums a few times and nobody can give me a good realistic reason. It's now come to the at

There is no other side. Everybody is a fanboy. Everybody is a troll. Naming depends of point of view. If Hollywood were to exploit the infinite ore of the internet, we could get awesome movies like "Clash of the Fanboys". [/

You would have to be pretty narrow minded to beleive that this guy is solely responsible for Civ 5s short comings, he did a great job with Civ 4, which is why I play it still after not having the stomach to even get to the modern age in Civ 5, it bored me to tears. Saying civ 4 is better because of the expansion packs is true to an extent, though the new idea's they came up with during the extended design time could have been easily introduced into Civ 5, yet they were not, it seems t

I agree, Civ 5 was a great disappointment for me, I cannot even force myself to play it.

Forget about the multi-threading, just teach them how to program AI. The bastards are taking their time patching that game, and it would not suprise me that they were pouring most of their resources into an expansion pack rather than improving the game that I bought, never had a crash, it's just damn boring, first Civ game I have ever disliked. I jump onto the 2k forums now and then to stir up the fanboys.

I like the game, quiet often I i'll load it up for a go but never seem to finish a game, either I lose interest or the game gets stuck on a turn. My honest opinion, great game, but there just seems to be something missing, I don't know what it is, I constantly check for patches in the hope that this hole is plugged, mind you everybody looks for something in a game, some hate some love, you will never really know until you give it a go yourself. Otherwise, I would wait to see h

Its all about freedom of information, mainstream media is failing to influence people because you can get the facts on the internet, if you think that only file sharing sites will be hit, wait a month and see if you can find any sites about 9/11 or any other conspiracy site. If some kid downloads a $20 music cd from some site he is going to get sued, if the same kid stole the music cd from a store, he would get a slap on the wrist.
