Will these so-called "expansions" be independent of one another? I like the sounds of the version 1.A "expansion" but I don't want 1.1 Frankly, I don't think you have a clue what you're doing with this game! Your ideas regarding the global mana system sound incredibly stupid and not fun. I don't want to have LESS FUN with the game. When I first heard the term "global mana pool" I didn't like the sounds of it, but reading more about what is intended (Frogboy's p

I don't mind reducing the gold from monster battles, but now it's hard to find monsters at all and yes, that's boring as hell. And now you find a pack of monsters and discover those archers (or catapults) you wasted money on are completely useless. The game has been boring, frustrating and down right annoying since these changes and I'm losing faith that it'll be a fun game after all the patching and hotfixing is through... This player has turned sour.
Broken ranged attacks?? I give it a 10 right now, although I remember when I would have given it an 80... I have the dreaded multiplayer patch, which hasn't been fixed yet and I'm impatient! But I'm also scared that this is all going from bad to worse. I sure hope that fix for multiplayer doesn't BREAK anything else [e digicons]>:([/e] (I wasn't even able to TEST multiplayer since my husband would need an account too, and I can't get rid of the patch, so I just
My stone giants no longer hit anything with their stones, and archers are unable to hit anything.
I'll just wait until Monday. I'll skip using archers right now and continue testing the game... But I feel rather sour about new bugs all over the place. [e digicons]:'([/e]
I really love this game--but I'm starting to get scared that it'll be changed way too much for me to enjoy it like this, so I'm grateful for this thread!! What I WOULD like to see happen is to expand the dynasty feature because it really adds a lot to the game already and I'd love to get more out of that. It would be nice if we could choose to marry our children to our champions, because there is not always an arranged marriage possible (my family and the other families I knew h
It's unfortunate that the Organized trait is being removed, especially since some other abilities don't even work right now (ie. Influencial racial ability). But I am looking forward to the fixes to monster spawning and equipment cost corrections. The option to turn off animations in tactical battle is a good idea, but I do enjoy the animations--I just wish they weren't so god damned slow!! I found that mounted units were dreadfully slow and annoying to play with bec
As much as I would love hotseat, I'm mainly interested in being able to try out the multiplayer beta without having to purchase another copy of the game. I don't mind buying another copy IF the multiplayer mode adds a lot of fun.
My husband and I made the decision to purchase Elemental because we wanted a multiplayer turn based game to play together. We love the game and have been looking forward to playing together when the multiplayer mode would be available. Can my husband create an account to play with me in the multiplayer mode on his laptop? The multiplayer mode is in beta stage and I would not wish to invest in another copy of the game for the sole purpose of multiplayer mode, since I don't ha

I was forced to kill off my character's grandson--but after some time, he became a wandering hero and I was thrilled to recruit him! Although he was rather expensive, but he had over 250 essence [e digicons][/e]
I'm a girl and I'm not interested in porn! But I'd like some female armor that's different from the male armor, if only in its design.
I'm sure this has been mentioned before, but I haven't found a thread about it. Along the top of the screen in the game, resources are displayed in a bar. When I obtained far too many shards of various types, I was no longer able to see how much gildar my kingdom had. Instead of showing each and every shard you control, could the bar simply show the fire shard and a number to illustrate how many fire shards you have? In my last game I had more than 10 of each shard!&
I appreciate that not everyone plays this game the same way, but I LOVE this game primarily for the adventuring! If I wanted to just build a civilization and go to war, I'd play Civilization. Now I wont tell you to do that, but I just don't understand why you would be interested in Elemental if you're not interested in the features it offers. I would love for monsters to give some random loot, that would be great.
It was an accidental discovery. I hope that it will be possible with a future update to be a scoundrel, so you could take advantage of overly trusting neighbors in additional ways after playing nice with them. [e digicons]O:)[/e]
I said "probably" because I wasn't certain if it was a bug, or if offering a marriage that would not produce heirs annoyed the king enough to allow the option for war. lol
WOW. But a spell to dispel enchantments would rock.
The only trap that sometimes delay the game is if you accidently sign a non-aggresion treaty and have to wait for it to expire.
You don't actually have to wait for the non-aggression pact to expire. It's probably a bug, but it's possible to declare war after discussing dynasties with the other faction.
My current game is coming dreadfully close to the end--and I'm around turn 500. It's been extremely fun, even with incredibly powerful monsters that levelled like crazy prior to the 1.07 update (I killed them all, but it was *hard* and fun). Even though one night I had to quit because I was mentally exhausted by them... I consider turns 250 to 350 to be mid-game, but that's based entirely on my gaming style. My Sov didn't even get married until around turn 150!
I love having notable and quest locations scattered all over my lands, and it's fun to send my sov to go to those places while I wait for mana to regenerate. Without the quests and notables, I'd have nothing to do while I wait. But there should be better loot and the dragon egg quest should work all the time (I haven't been able to get it to work and read several posts of others who couldn't either.) Loot after battles (not just gildar) would be a great addition. Espec
I truly appreciate the open and honest response from the company--I've had very unfortunate experiences with other companies, and I don't even think Elementals is half as problematic as some of the games I've played. (EA's Sims 3 horror show... I now refuse to buy anything with the EA logo on it.) I have to agree about the distribution issues. My husband and I waited anxiously for the release of Elemental: WoM and up until the week before launch, stores here (Finland) had
I like a lot of these ideas, especially shards boosting mana regeneration. I would not like to have to pay a mana upkeep for my summons though. It would lead me to use them for short term strategy only, instead of keeping them around and getting them to much higher levels. I'm not keen on the idea of a shared mana pool either, but from the sound of things, that's what we're getting. I personally would prefer to see the current system fixed so that shards actu
Troll? I thought trolls were just people who post unwanted advertisements for non-related products (usually of an adult nature). I think the OP might be off loving the game finally--or so I hope [e digicons]|-)[/e]
Thanks to other players who have posted on this forum about how dynasties work, I already knew that the offspring of my arranged marriages might ally with their mother's faction. However, I had two male grandchildren who's grandmother had her life cut rather short and her entire empire was under my control. (I actually took her best daughter and then declared war and killed the entire kingdom! lol) Both of the male grandchildren decided to ally with the long dead facti
I saw this bug with my husband playing his game prior to the update to 1.07, so it's not new to this update. In his case it was a dead enemy spouse that we referred to as the "training dummy" LOL But I also experienced it myself yesterday when I took over a tribal village from one of those small factions. They had a golem and the king and queen in the town. I killed the group off and after the battle, did not get the city because the dead golem was still there.
