I have gotten the invalid DX call crash a few times. I have an ATI video card, is it isnt about the video card.

ANOTHER AI ISSUE. So far I have played a couple full games. throughout those games Magnar was the only AI to actually build more than 1 city.

I am having the same issue. I spend more time waiting on the game to stop lagging then playing. I have 4gb mem, windows 7 x64, quad core(amd 955 black). This game should be running smmmooooooooth, even with all settings turned all the way up. I also have constant crashes all over the place.
