An odd thing started happening fairly recently. Traits/abilities/etc are being "tripled". By that I mean if I create a character with, for example, Wealthy, the hero starts the game with 1500 gold. Mousing over the Wealthy icon says (I don't remember the exact text) "Hero starts with 500 gold" three times. Happens with other things too, like Master Smith (now upgrades cost 0). I figured it must be a mod so I unchecked "Use Mods" but it still happened. So I uninstal

Nice post and I agree with it pretty much 100%. Hunter IS bad, and I was thinking to boost it a little, I'd add (in some combination) ,,, 1. All units with ranged weapons also get some combination of damage and accuracy bonus aginst everything. 2. Like the Stealth skill, the Sovereign and his army cannot be attacked by wandering foes, but could still be attacked by monsters guarding lairs. 3. I would love to see "Survive for X turns" option. I tend to like "turtling" but it's terrible strategy in a game where the AI is just going to steamroll you with the stacks of doom. And virtually every RTS game ever made usually demands you zerg the AI before he zergs you. I don't find that fun in the least, but I will admit FE doesn't do it as "in your face" as other RTS's.

Since getting the Mod to work, I'm crashing way more than pre-mod. Also, I'm seeing a lot of weird graphical anomalies I also didn't see before. How do I fully uninstall it? I deleted everything under Mods and unchecked Use Mods. It crashes every time I try and start a new random map, and I don't use any of the Mod factions (which still show up for some reason).

Good news is the game now sees the mods. Bad news is that it crashes hard when starting a game. I tried the -localdata flag, and removed the river mod. No luck :(

I just downloaded the mod, and I'm having trouble getting it to work. I followed the instructions, but the issue is that my directory structure isn't exactly the same. Mine is Program Files x86 / steamapps / common / Elemental Fallen Enchantress. Once there, I did not see a Mods folder so I created it. I then copied the folders over from the download. I checked "Use Mods" but I see no sign of the new stuff in-game. Any help appreciated. I suspect the so
