OOM crashes seem to be just as regular in 1.19c as they were in 1.19b

I am not a fan of impulse. All the hassles with updating have been a right royal pain. The product needs quite a bit of work. On my windows 7 computer I use large fonts 125% - now impulse can't handle this at all - the form is too large and the graphics don't stretch over the form. This is a basic 101 error. I.e, amateur hour. So if an impulse developer reads this please fix it. I don't know what you program in but set your form's scaled property

I think it is shame they put any effort and time into doing a MP option - the audience for MP would be, IMO, very small. And unless they pulled off something amazing it would most probably not live up to the requirements of those who do want to play TBS MP games. For me, personally, mp is a complete waste of time and I would never use it. If I am going to play a game with mates it needs to be a bit more exciting and faster paced.

Finally got around uninstalling and reinstalling elemental to avoid having to download 1.4GB of game for a 20MB update. Uninstall and reinstall wasn't enough because impulse, that piece of crapware, decided that elemental wasn't installed on my computer. Bizzare but true. I could manually start up elemental but impulse didn't get the hint. So I had to completelty remove impulse and elemental and then start from scratch. This included signing into

I like your mods. I don't have anything practical to add but I do like your results. It would be nice if cities had more individual character - I often don't know what city I am looking at unless I look at the name and the greater region around it.

OK same boat as everyone else. Can someone (Frogboy) make the 1.11 executable available so that we don't have to download 1.4GB? Very excited to come back from my summer holidays to see the update there and very frustrated that I need to download 1.4GB to have it. I think impulse has really dropped the ball on this update issue they have had months to fix it. It is the very reason that I recently purchase Elvan Legacy through steam rather than stardock - steam works.</p

The whole transport ships deal is completely broken. Selecting a ship should bring up a disembark icon oir something like that to make it easier to eject your army. Also teleporting out of a ship is a hoot. The ship comes with you. So then you have a landlocked army inside a ship - brilliant. I have reported that bug before however I am unsure how to report bugs officially so I am not sure if any of the developers have seen that information.

Ships are a pain in the arse. There aren't many beaches to land on and you can't seem to board or leave a ship next to cliffs. At the moment ships are more or less a waste of time. I hadn't thought about raiding a land bridge out of the water - good idea.

Finished a long game today. It would great if cities had more individualism. If a city is a mass producer of arcane knowledge, it should reflect that. If it is a mining town show that with the buildings. I think it is shame that all the cities feel and look the same. Also the shop in each city is exactly the same. I had a situation where Ihad just spent a few years bring a pioneer to the mountains to found a new city next to an earth shard. My protecting arm

I love this game. And I love that it will probably get better and better. I have had more value out of this game on a $ per hour basis than I have had out of COD or other nice but short FPS type games. Well worth getting into if you like this genre.

My sovereign was attempting to cross the water in a boat. However the far shores were completely made up of cliffs. After spending a number of turns unsuccessfully trying to get off my boat I decided to teleport myself to friendly territory. When I cast teleport next to one of my cities the boat came with me. Teleporting while in a boat causes the boat unit to be teleported along with the caster. The annoying thing is that once I had teleported the the end turn button s

I have been playing elemental from the start and played through all the beta versions. I am now at a point where I love this game. However, there are a few things that annoy me personally that I have not seen elsewhere so I figure why not put them in a list, maybe others agree. 1. City leveling: Do you want extra tech, arcane research, gildar or random unit? Why can't the dialog window display current tech, arcane research, gildar product and defensive capabilities? Tha

Is it not possible to upgrade from 1.09w to 1.1 without installing the entire 2GB? The old trick doesn't appear to work.

It would be nice if someone explained why the stardock updater wants to download 1.9 gb every time. I was hoping it would have been fixed by now. It must be costing someone a lot of bandwidth.

Random can have its problems. Although the random map I am playing right now feels like river world; Long valleys with steep sides. There are 8 players but so far I have only found one other player and I figure I have explored half the large map already. I think the Ai is finding it difficult to branch out and discover resources.

I am sure you know your stuff but when you argued that the only difference between a 32bit and 64 bit cpu was the number of seats on a bus I felt it was a pretty poor analogy. 64 bit computers make working with large files, video etc much easier.A 64 bit os/cpu is also great for working with encrypted files. Also because you have more registers to play with you can keep more data in cpu with out having to go to second level cache. Anyw

If you have a mine on a mountain and some mad wizard goes and lowers/raises the land then I think it is pretty fair to assume that the mine would collapse and be rendered useless ;)

Agreed the car analogy vs a bus is a bad example. It is obvious that Thoumsin only has a shallow understanding of CPU architecture. Its funny how history repeats I remember similar arguments from ludites who argued that 8bit was the way to go and that 16bit wasn't what it was cracked up to be, and then again 16 vs 32 bit. If you are putting together a new computer and you want windows you would obviously install Windows 7 64 Bit.
