Gamespot is brutal on all reviews ... even the "top" games like Halo barely make a 9.0. Either these gamers have really bad days or they are upset that they have a website that barely ever works.
Ok, it is done. Attached is a copy of the code if anyone wants to add senario heroes to their games. Thank you heavenfall and harpo ... not as advanced as yours, but its a start.
Ok, so I did all the hard work to clean up the file. So when I place it in the mod folder, how do I disable the core file so that no doubles occur?
So I found what I was looking for in CoreUnits ... unfortunately just adding those files inside the folder did not give me the desired results. The information that is within those FECampaign_Units files is much cleaner and easier to see where it begins and ends. So it brings me to wonder, if I spend the time to clean up the file to look like that of the campaign files, will it cause any issues with the game, or should I add it in like a mod?
Ok, so I have played the scenario a few times, mostly due to wanting to see all the choices of companions ... since some didn't like others (very cool idea btw) Anyway, if you play a random generated map, only 2 of these companions are able to be recruited. How do I add these into the game? I cannot seem to find the correct files.
Ok ... so I see the tab for dynasties still ... so I am assuming (yes willing to make an ass of myself) that this will be added back into the game after some more than likely major tweaks. BUT! ... if I have not lost people yet ... military and governments rankings I see stardock mentioning generals and lieutenants ... but we all know they don't truly have that rank ... but what if they did? could they get certain bonuses to their designated rank
So I could not find anything on the latest beta update, but if my faction leader falls in a battle outside the capital ... I live to fight another day. Now the same senario but with an enemy leader ... they die, whole faction gets wiped out (useful if your losing multiple wars and that is the only means to keep yourself alive) Is anyone else having this issue?
