First of all, it's a huge improvement over 0,75 stability-wise. I haven't had a single crash and I played for a few hours straight with some Alt-Tabing included. Monsters seem a bit stronger overall than in 0,75 which is nice, I also like the change of level for recruitable champions. Now, what I'd like to see improved :-) are the following things: - enemy champions are in general much weaker than my own (ok I realize they usually can't be as strong sin

In my opinion - just make tactical battles look and feel like in AoW:SM. Problem solved :D.
Hi, here are a few small bugs that I encountered. I'm not listing crashes here, I'll be sending those reports via mail. - Tactical battles - sometimes health bars are messed up; instead of green or red line you get some jumbled pixels. This usually goes away once the unit receives damage. - Ophidian camp becomes invisible while under construction. But it's still visible on cloth map. - Tactical battles - sometimes (most
I agree, maul seems to be too good.
I'd certainly like to see dynasties in FE (or later, but as soon as possible) :-) Dynasties and the concept of marrying off your successors with the idea of acquiring some benefits in the future, like alliance or even the whole other kingdom/empire were some of the most interesting things for me in the E:WoM. Sadly, the concept wasn't fleshed out in the most fortunate way, but the idea itself was great! In my opinion, the best thing to do about the dynasty system would
Well, you asked for it :D Here are a few ideas: - Ambush quests, where the description is "normal" (something like escorting a NPC somewhere or looking for something) but when you get to the destination you are ambushed by the quest giver (and some monsters). - Revenge quests, where a NPC will join you because he needs your help taking revenge against some enemies from the past. As a reward, perhaps he could join you?<
Great mod! thanks for all (and fast! :-) updates!
1) you don't really get a snowballing effect. In Elemental, and Civ, and most strategy games, both turn-based and real-time, there's usually a point where you know you're probably going to win, as you're far stronger than the other players. This doesn't happen so much in AI War, as even if the AI is down to its last two stars, it can still warp in huge waves of ships to attack you (the game's lore suggests that the bulk of the AI's forces are in an other galaxy compl
-There is nothing to build but studies and a few workshops ! We need a lot more choices for level 1,2 and 3 cities, Choices that use population a lot. We need moderately powerful buildings that use 30, 40, 50 people at once. And we need huge, population-eating buildings for level 4 and 5 cities. We need to have to spend that population, and we need to feel like we *won't* be able to build everything and have to make choices. Otherwise, population as resource is utterly poin
Great mod!
I've had almost the same problems; the corruption? of save games happen after a number of turns (from 134 to over 230) - while I play everything is ok, but when I reload the game it either crashes or (the last time, yesterday) the cloth map is completely empty of any faction /or at least my faction/. I have Adventure Content Pack v0.66 and Expanded Factions 5.0, playing as an empire faction with custom sovereign. Just to add that this last time I reloaded after my sovere
I had the same problem with loading the saved games. Basically had to start a new game because the old one was unloadable :-) Autosave, previous autosave and my save all resulted in crashes. Once I got the message about failing to download data file, other times game simply crashed when trying to load. I'll try to load it today again. It happened around turn 130.
Thank you! [e digicons][/e]
The savegame is uploaded here: http://filebin.ca/qrhdpp/k1.EleSav (or http://filebin.ca/qrhdpp ) The crash happens when I attack the bandit group with my Sovereign - there's a caster in the group and the game crashes when he starts to cast whatever he's supposed to :-).
o keep the Sovereign as only possible ruler (RPG theme there), all the dynasty with "1st in the line ot the Throne" and such, makes not much sense. It has been like that from day 1. Being able to "fragment" your Kingdom/Empire so some of your heirs take control of the cities you give them (creating loyal vassal states while lowering your Kingdom's expenses, for example), would improve it. Being able to gain political control of territories using arranged marriages, would be anotehr imp
Excellent ideas! I especially like points 4 and 5. Point 1 is imo not such a big issue in the long run since you'll get more offspring from your son(s) but some dowry would be nice :-).
How does the defense value add to the damage received? I mean, heroes, sovereigns and their offspring die way too easy. I agree that typical human shouldn't stand too much damage but one chain lightning and 3-4 royalty dead isn't really a prospect I like to see. It is my opinion that hitting first is right now just too important, because in most cases it's instant kill. There should be some scaling between typical human recruits and heroes/royalty. If not straig
Hey, thanks for clarification!
Trying to make some space for my ships so they can get to the sea (don't ask - stupid harbor placement) :P. Forsake land (at least I think that's the spell's name) - should revert a land tile to water one; doesn't do anything, just spends mana. While I'm at it, let me suggest that it should work on coastal tiles as well (now it's an illegal target for the spell). Dominate doesn't work either (can it be resisted)? An enemy unit tried to dominate my Ice Lord; spel
Do they have an Ogre village right beside the settlement? I have the same problem, it would be nice to see if it's connected to minor factions and/or Ogre village.
Hey, at least she has low Charisma [e digicons][/e] . Sorry, couldn't resist...
Started playing in 1.0, loaded that save game when I updated to 1.01. Acquired (invaded) a settlement from a minor faction and after a few days population was 57/50 (when I look at the level 1 line it says the settlement will level up when the pop reach 50 :P). After that no town leveled up. Same thing happened with one more settlement taken from a minor faction. My bigger towns have a way to go til leveling up so at this time I don't know if this happens only for level 1->
