the Fire Elementals that drop through the ground and makes a battle with them take anywhere from 10 minutes to 60 minutes.(Unless it's a vanilla problem)
I'm pretty sure it's vanilla problem. I don't think Master's Affliction does anything that could produce this effect.

Has anyone tried it? From what I see, making a stamp should be the first step. After that, a guardian (or use existing one), conquer condition, tactical map (make or use) in . Wildlands as faction already exist in CoreRaceConfigs as: Is there something more to it that I don't see?

Good idea! I would add that I'd like to see playing in teams. Ok I understand we don't have multiplayer, but I guess it should be possible to set up teams - let's say allied Kingdoms against allied Empires from the start. Something like that could even be moddable, I suspect. However, I'm not sure what could be done to prevent AIs to drop alliances and more importantly, how to lift the Fog of War over the whole allied territory.
I'd love a summon spell like that spawn egg stuff, but the problem is that the AI isn't going to use it. So the faction "pays" for a bonus, but the AI won't use it, only the player. That tilts the game balance in a way I don't want it to. Everything in my mod is usable by the AI, except a few items in the Reliquary (hexed items, some others with significant disadvantages that the AI wouldn't know how to use prope

Heavenfall, thank you for very fast answers! So, if I get it right, it's the 0 tag that makes the traits (usually Blood, Slave and such) defined at that moment permanent and unchangable? For 2) - there's probably a possible workaround to define more traits for the units that I don't want unlocked at that moment but later (with prereq for some other tech for example)? Not ideal, but ok. 3) Can you be a bit more spec

Hey guys! A couple of questions: 1) Is it possible to lock some ability to a designable unit or at least make it specific for that unit only (some Unit prereq in ability)? For example, like Generic Slaves are designed: 0 Does that mean that all abilities defined here are locked, and/or that no other ability can be added to the unit? 2) Is it possible to make the ability used

This happened to me in 1.02 as well. I managed to save the map first time I made some changes, but not after that. If I make a change to the map's name and not overwrite the old file, it will save some new random map. By the way, in process of saving :P it also creates a wrong new size of the map (I work on a large map but the saved map is tiny).

You don't need to build the first city (your capital) on the first location you have close by. You can try to find a better one with your sovereign. Of course, this brings some other risks, like you falling behind the AIs or your sov dying to a wandering monster and then it's game over :-)... In any case, if you don't like your starting position you can always Ctrl+N for a better one.

I played a little bit longer, situation so far is: - playing Tarth (normal world, challenging AI), I have 7 cities, very little metal (one metal source from ~50 turns back), no horses/wargs, 2 crystal sources. It's around turn 250. Still not at war. - I'm supposedly the strongest faction but not by far, still haven't seen Krax (playing on large map with 5 other factions). - Irane the absolute killer and archers are the primary army, but failed miserably (as
While I like this feature in most games that have it, I don´t think that it would be a good idea for FE. It would end with all civilizations (including the player one) which have conquered a Yithril city fielding armies of Juggernauts, supported by maybe a few units of their own nation. All in all it would decrease the diversity of units you can encounter on the battlefield.
&nbs

No, I think it's intended to be able to build them only if you start a city near that spot. It doesn't have to do with city level.

I believe the OP unwillingly started an interesting discussion. And I still can't decide he's a troll, but that's irrelevant now anyway. First of all, @OP (and I'm certainly not the first to say that): mod the game if you want. If not, don't use pork for healing. Behave like you would in real life after a tough battle where you killed an Earth Elemental...oh, wait? [e digicons]:D[/e] Now, as for principle. If the game was desi

Here's some feedback. Playing Tarth, I'm now ~200 turns in the game, normal world, challenging AI. I had no metal til around 150 turns and sparse crystal due to strong monster lairs right by the Crystal Crag. That would've been a problem if I wasn't playing Tarth ;-). The early game was hard due to 3 Troll lairs in my part of the world. My first hero has 5-6 wounds and really suffered (now he has path of barbarian and 125 HP so things are better,
See this is where the positive reviews of the game keep coming from, an insulated bubble of about two dozen diehard fans. This game deserves mediocre reviews, not overly negative ones but certainly not glowingly positive reviews. It falls short of it's potential in pretty much every way, even the diplomacy is still crap and the text on the diplomacy screen has no opaque background and is hard to read. Seriously e

Killed him in a game yesterday. He had two ritualists with him and an Assassin demon. First time he wiped the floor with my army (heavy armoured cavalry and my sovereign) - I lost more than 500 mana in the process for my stupid sov's retreat. Then I made an army specifically for him (archers, fast cavalry) and countered the right spells. This time it was easy ;-).

It's all about what you want from a game. To me, FE is RPG/Strategy mix. I create my own faction and my own custom sovereign and never play the "one super party all-hero no-city (or one city) steamrolling stack" because it doesn't fit my idea of this game. I don't care if it's possible to play that way and win by turn 50 or whatever and just steamroll over everyone. It's not my cup of tea. I play to explore, settle few cities and when the war
