Just to reiterate Raledon's offer. We are a still-forming team of half a dozen (or so), folks from all over the globe. Or common `glue' and goal is the love of Master of Magic, and the desire to make a MOM Elemental mod that is as close to the original masterpiece as we can. Our developmental leaders h

Personally I believe ANY criticism is valid PROVIDED the ranter uses intelligent criteria to back up the statement, and of course folks, this if just my opinion- but please be civil and use manners. Cheers

I owe my wonderful marriage and my career to Master of Magic. It's a true story but I won't bother you with the details. Marriage AND career? I'm kinda curious, sounds like an interesting story. Please elaborate if you desire. Dumb question, but please help. Is there a way

By the way, my intent here isn't to berate or lash out at anyone. This is a harsh professional critique. I know stardock is capable of very good work, and I have a suspicion that their unfamiliarity with RPGs, over familiarity with 4X games, and the general difficulty of mixing genres, all are contributing to the unfocused and unstructured feel of the game. So true. I re

Hi fellow-Elementalists. Though I assume that most of the mods will follow standard fantasy (and possibly sci-fi), avenues, like LOTR-lie and elves, dwarves, etc. I would like to do something hopefully different. My background is creating the fantasy art (http://lgaskins.homestead.com/) and metal/progressive album&nb

What about making the minor faction's modus (or modi), operandi, a toggleable option in either the pre-game options of under the gameplay options? Players could choose between the minor factions being aggressive, passive, capable of expanding or not, or other traits. Perhaps they have a `situation' in their territory (like less natural game, too swampy, or rocky), to support a massive city?

Definitely agree with the more and varied text, thought I doubt this will be an issue before the bug fixes (my two games crashed in 1.07, so they are still out there), as well as balancing and graphical issues. I'm hoping by Jan. or Feb. for them to add improved content. And if it's sooner, then it's a cool surprise.

It's not that I dislike the art, as I said in another post, it does grow on you and it's VERY professional. But I would have liked to see a lot more variety and dazzle... to give it that `sense of wonder.' And if you're going to base the visual styling on Alphonse

Content-wise, how far will they go or do you want them to go? In other words, do you think they'll simple add on or even replace, etc?

I have a love-hate (well not hate- more like love-frustration), relationship with Elemental. My question is: How long of a time-frame do you think the developers will continue to update the game AFTER the bugs are fixed? Besides crashing and still some slow-downs deep into a game; there are&nbs

I say fire up the MoM and enjoy it. I really wish someone would do a graphical upgrade on it, because the game mechanics are very good already. Speaking of that, I think I'll start a new game on Impossible difficulty while using Death Magic. It's tough but it's always enjoyable. <span style="color: #ffffff; back

I generally agree. Adding a true sense of wonder makes a movie, game, book, etc. It makes it special, personable and immerses you into the story. Having the same phrase spoken by a bandit about you in the wilds makes the game more vanilla. It would VERY easy to add a few dozen various&nb

To me Inception was amazingly overrated. It lacked common sense, and lacked a true sense of wonder. Don't get me wrong, I still kinda liked it, but I was floored by it's lack of creativity, because the trailer was very promising. Acting was first rate and the film was mounted well. A couple of the effects were

Hi, my first post..... I just bought the game, installed it, and upgraded to 1.01. I played around with it for an hour or so. There are MANY things to like about the game. Even though I prefer detailed graphics, these kinda grow on you. lol A

Great introductory videos. Still waiting for Gamestop to call so I can play the game. I would have loved to see a battle kill to view the results. Suggestion: After two runaways, the victor was left with nothing on both accounts, what about a randomizer that gives th

Am I the only one who thinks digital downloads should be a little cheaper than the retail box? I agree. Maybe a few dollars off, or perhaps a bonus game-related small `gift,'

Great idea! What might be cool if you/we/whomever could use a website, or if Stardock could provide web page space to make a polished professional online handbook (public, or private for buyers of the game), to make a very good, expandable tutorial. This can include FAQs, movies, etc. Because Elemental as well as the fan community is so dedicated </strong

As a former game artist and current illustrator that loves turn-based games, I am planning to mod Elemental to hopefilly capture a stronger graphical feel. Though I believe tha game artists did an admirable job with the stylized graphics (sorry guys, but I see very little influence of&n

I don't understand how one would put out a game to reviewers that has bugs and issues. I hope that this is not the case with Elemental, but I fear this could be true. Bad publicity is bad publicity, and poor reviews can definitely hurt sales.... Still I hope that the upgrades and patches will make this a killer game... yet&nbs

Hello Elemental community, my first post; I recently discovered Elemental, and I just ordered the game at a retailer. As a predominately CD album illustrator (and former game designer), I need to provide my clients with finished work. I am a a bit wary for Stardock, that the game will supposedly have so m
