I had my sovereign level up because another stack I had won a battle. It happened twice in one game, but not happened in previous games.

Great - I have the same issue. Got a run out of memory even though it is a mid to high end rig. It was many horus in, and many turn in though.
you should have a reduction in your birth rate. Women in war means they are not pregnant. If you want to utilize the whole population for armies then there should be a penalty.
I built a ship to explore the coast but it has little benefit at this point
Just came to the forums to report the same bug. This is the answer. Thanks - there should be a comment to state the unit is idle on autoexplore.
Just send them to their deaths in a stack - you get some benefit of minor damage/wasting enemy turns and you get rid of the unit.
after turn 200 - every 50 turns
OP - excellent post. I agree with nearly all. The game is enjoyable but I only worked out how to get married into my 4th game. However I quite like not having a tech tree as you never know exactly whre your research leads.
Anyone else feel like the marriage process is a bit... Sovereign: My lady, would you accompany me in my adventures? "Sure...that will be 1400 Gildar" Sovereign: Right...here you go (Many years pass between the two and their adventures) Sovereign: I want you to be my queen...Will you marry me? "Sure, you already paid 1400 Gildar I'll do anything you like"
Happens in real
really? you have to look after them? I can understand trade would get blocked and if you remove the bandits then trade should just resume
Odd - I was a fallen race - cannot remember which and I could build right after I got their camp in my city. I dont know if there is a tech that I have that you don't or is it truly the race you picked? I know my race cant use horses - over that resource it states the same thing. However it should not let you research it then.
thanks for that - works for all units?

Join the club - I think cause I made my sovereign a nerd with poor strength and high IQ. Maybe you need a flashy horse and cart first with a health bank balance.
thanks for the replies

I will give one extra Point of Food which might be enough to Expand the city. As has been stated in other posts food is meant to be scarce due to how barren some areas are. helpful hint: When Founding a City always ensure there are at least 2 food sources nearby.
Does the spell cost mana cost as a once off
How do you get more essence? And i cant see if there is upkeep for spells. If I summon a fire giant is it a once of cost? or ongoing? Or can I only cast so many ongoing spells at one time?
no one wants to make it with my sovereign while the empire next door must be on viagra with an announcement he has a new child every 5 turns. So I can't comment on the healing properties. My sovereign is not getting that benefit.
That what he has noticed so far. I have only played a couple of hours which were enjoyable. i worked out most of it by watching clips posted by Frogboy and staff. Will play again tonight with likely a more critical eye. That said most games these days need patches. Look at Fallout or Oblivion - massive games with documented bugs and the alrge majorty fixed by modders rahter than staff and they are really well funded. That said this is the only company I kno of that the
I think wisdom increases mana pool while intelligence improved the strength of spells especially those that do direct damage

I live in Australia and game downloaded in 45 mins.
