Isn't this war of magic and not war of city builders? Magic is the focus, I would hope. I've not waited all these months for a civ knockoff with magic added. I'm afraid I'm not savvy enough to know exactly what it should look like or how it would work, but I would not want to spend alot of time with city stuff.

I believe you're right dadoo2, I've not played for abit (playing Amnesia and Rise of Flight while waiting) and you could not pick your destination. I liked it because it was fast.

When you're in your city, click on the blank shield to the left your group. This opens the "stationed units" menu. Select who you want to leave the city then select "eject".
Yay! Utopia was kickass... I still remember the "pling" sound when your fishing boat caught a fish.
Sea Battle kept myself and a friend captive for endless hours. Loved those little pt boats. Utopia, I remember dreading the storms and rebels.
Well, maybe. But in reality, it is just not possible. I can tell you from experience that seemingly equal systems can act different, I had such an issue recently when I was programming DirectX test stuff on my notebook, where it run without issues, but wouldn't start on my desktop system. No error message, no debug information, it would just plain crash (and my assembly sucks, I can't debug with that yet). So what I had to do was reinstall some C++ Runtimes, even though the

I think it depends on you. If you play alot of these games and have several time tested strategies that you've used in the past to win and want to exploit the game to the max to test your powers......not yet. [e digicons]:annoyed:[/e] If you're fairly new or have played afew of these games and want to take your time and play around with it abit getting to know it before the changeover (sometime in 2-3 weeks), then I'd get it and play it knowing it will get bet

I'd go even for a slider on the cost of teleporting. I'd like a game where I can move quickly to save my people, then the next where I'm hampered by the cost. Would add to the replayability alot. Sliders on all the magic spells might be abit too much.....or would it?

I remember $29.99 for any intellivision game. And that was cutting edge grahpics in the early 80's. That's like $100 in todays money. I can't believe games are so cheap and people demand so much for the small amount they really pay.

Actually games are quite cheap these days. Compared to paying $29.99 for any intellivision game back in the 80's, games should be priced higher than they are. I'd gladly pay for the expansions and we should. I thank Brad for wanting to make good on this game and willing to give away additional content. $50 is nothing today, you can make that begging on the streets of America in a few hours. I see gamers out there all the time.[e digicons]:jafo:[
