Love the mod, can't wait to do a bit of work on the new 1.6 version. Keep up the good work!

I'd also like to know what the plans are for the web-based mod area. I would much rather see a centralized option (beats telling people where to look) than a community site, to be honest. I know those options existed for GC and GC2, and would love to see one for EWOM.
Hey Klaytonix, actually there's a site fully ready for it: https://www.elementalgame.info/ For the moment it does not allow direct creation of modder account to upload their file, the site team has to do it. But I think we can work on that if you are used to php/mysql. What do you think about it ?
I'm an experienced PHP/MySQL developer, and would be happy to donate some of my time, if you'
Just a heads up: you misspelled "dwell" (forgot the second 'l') on the kingdom description. Other than that, looks great. Can't wait to see it in game.
Works very well for me on Win 7 x64 and version 1.07.25. The maps are really nice, and tend to (I think) actually run more quickly than the normal randomly created ones. Love that the mountains are bigger, too.
“Vectors are just glorified arrays anyway,” She is right, you know ...
I suppose. A vector provides a lot of flexibility that an array doesn't, especially because you don't know how big it needs to be at compile time (I'm assuming we're talking about C++ here). In much the same way that Garbage Collection takes away the necessity for the programmer to predict exactly how the program is going
Garbage collection to a large amount of people is selling all the grey items in your inventory. To others it means freeing up memory allocations which are no longer used. To yet others, it is the act of removing people from the genetic pool. To a bunch of weirdos its putting refuse outside for some mystical agent to come and remove... WTF? Noobs.
It was a joke in res
I'll bet your wife thinks that Garbage Collection is just a fancy way of setting object references to null, too, doesn't she? :)
I just wanted to throw a quick post up here to let people know that I'm working on a very basic XML reader/editor which will allow one to edit Elemental's XML files without needing to do so by hand. It will be Windows only (I needed an excuse to start learning C#), and the initial release, scheduled for sometime this weekend will be bare-bones, simply allowing value editing based on a simple GUI. Roadmap: Release 1: #Allows editing existin
Quoting spider1110, reply 2can you change the allegiance to empire? i can't! the option is greayed out for me. I haven't been able to try it yet but it sounds like it's the Beta version of the faction creator. In those times there was no Empire option in the game so they may have forgotten to remove that limit when including it (due to popular demand, don't forget that bit). You should be able to change it through the XML if you c
Mancer (Female) has no pants options
This is a problem? *rimshot* Seriously, would love to see some bigger map loving going on. Of course, I haven't even touched 10% of a large map in a game yet, so what am I complaining about?
The fonts are beautiful for me (1680x1050, nvidia 250GTS), thick and smooth. I did hear alot of complaints in the chatroom though, must be some wierd specific resolution-to-monitor-drivers bug?
Same setup (260 Core 216, but close enough) and I've got no problems with the fonts, which is unusual: I almost always find fonts in everything too small to read comfortably. But no, haven't noticed any problems.
Just a quick thing I've noted after playing a few games: When you finish a tactical battle, my mouse cursor stays with the movement cursor (winding dots with an X at the end) during the level-up screen. Because the +/- buttons for stat changes are so small during that level up screen, it makes it very difficult to assign points -- the first time I saw that screen I actually thought the UI had gone non-responsive. Changing that cursor back to the normal cursor would defi
Any hints on how to find where to complete quests in sandbox mode? I've got a quest to escort a nobleman's son...somewhere, but it doesn't say where. I can't find any hints for it.
