there's a big problem with minimum income. eligibility. it would work in a completely isolated country. or if there's unlimited resource. (which would make eligilibity an non-issue) the idea isn't unsound, just probably unworkable in today's environment. i believe switzerland had a referendum on it and was rejected.

rewatch star trek. apply. except the unimited energy bit. oh dear.
so what happened to the impulse's infrastructure? we all know gamestop didn't do much with impulse.. but what about the infrastructure? anyway. like you said, for electric vehicles to get anywhere, they need chargers everywhere. they'll also have to be fairly standardised so that it works on everything, since it's idiotic to have multiple charging stations that only works on certain things. would tesla be viable licensing out their
that would be them relying on you to be honest about needing accessibility aid. do tape up your cameras though.. you know win10 spying on you and all ;)
480/470/460 are the polaris cards. i don't think there's much point buying older stuff given the leap in performance at relative lower cost. if you are buying stuff, assuming you get the temp fixed, then you just have to decide whether to go amd or nvidia (1060 or the slower/cheaper 1050 when it's released). just a matter of how much money you want to spend at that time. (stuff comes out all the time)
put this way. the cards that amd released this summer (polaris) are not aimed at the top performance market occupied by 1080/1070. supposedly vega is aimed at that segment. i think the 480 is cheaper than 1060 but less power efficient and less powerful. the 1060 is around or just shy of 980 performance, but cheaper.
ten forum (or other variation like 7) isn't ms... helpful though it is. "Windows 10 Forums is an independent web site and has not been authorized, sponsored, or otherwise approved by Microsoft Corporation. "Windows 10" and related materials are trademarks of Microsoft Corp." i know that there are some discussion/comments bits within ms.. not sure it's a forum
i didn't recommend anything XD i just quoted the min sys req of that game from their site (quick google. i don't have that game, didn't read details). which seems to suggest the gfx card is above the min sys req what does the min mean? maybe not high settings. which is why i asked if you tried lowering settings (say.. to low or medium or something) as for cpu comparison. i don't really know anything about it. i did a quick google and saw the benchmark graphs in
ms has a win10 forum??
Minimum requirements: OS: 64-bit Windows 7 or 64-bit Windows 8 (8.1). DirectX 11 is necessary to run the game. Processor: Intel CPU Core i5-2500K 3.3GHz, AMD CPU Phenom II X4 940 Finding a Gaming CPUs performance chart and comparing one’s CPU with our minimum is suggested. Graphics: Nvidia GPU GeForce GTX 660 or AMD GPU Radeon HD 7870 Please mi
other info tools similar to speccy cpu-z (covers other hardware bits too) gpu-z (this actually only does what the name says XD)
only thing i can say is that i have a 4k monitor where i only use the 4k for desktop stuff X i do games in 1080 or occasionally 1440. i even set the dpi to zoom in so the desktop looks like 1080 in size. a right pain when i exit fullscreen games (most?) as it'll usually screw up the resolution of (file) explorer and browser.. especially after not sure which update it was in win10... everything looks tiny until i relaunch the browser/(file) explorer maybe it's ju
in the long term... ... you can't. unless you stay offline permanently XD
hmm, that long ago, i don't know then. i had a look at a relative's machine. he upgraded from win8.1 in late july. his version is 1511 (threshold 2). the 1607 update hasn't popped for him yet (did a manual check just before i saw your reply.). mind you. at least he wasn't on 1507 (the one from last summer) reason i asked... was that around the time when 1511 came out, i read somewhere that people going from 7/8.1 wasn't given the 1511 update, but had to sti
I hadn't heard about this "anniversary Update" before. I checked my machines and none of them have updated to it. Even when I have them check for updates they all say they are up to date... Not that I'm in any hurry to have MS screw with my systems some more but thought this odd based on reading others here have it, not counting those that did the manual install.
odd thought. did you upgrade to win10 (from 7/8
wait till they start putting wheels and chips on your other furnitures so they move out of the way for the roombas
not like there's a choice. just timing... when windows decides it notices there's an update... and when you reboot/shutdown your machine. (hmm.. unless suspending/hibernation doesn't count as restart)
finished... going to look up all my settings now to see what's changed XD i noticed a "defer feature update" thing under update options... --- funny.. that defer thing seems to have disappeared by itself XD --- if you have blank steam store problems after... check... (you can ignore this now... steam update fixed this) https://www.reddit.com/r/Windows10/comments/4vtu9z/problems_with_au_and_steam/d61d82r
this should be fun.... the update just kicked in (eh.. i did a manual check as i don't want it to start tomorrow morning when i'm in a rush XD) slow crawl... "preparing to install.. .@31% so far. what are the chances it'll finish by the time i go to sleep? XD
... well, depends on who the person is, doesn't it. if it's a priest or politician or some "family values" person or some such, they'll be blackmailed easily.
surely that'll be him describing some sort of concept, and then other people dumping the money? XD 1 thing about linux... it just ain't consumer friendly enough as long as people looking up how to do stuff is given command line answers. as for mint.. simple things like always keeping numlock on (upon login) requires a separate app instead of being baked into the os settings.. or upgrading from 17->18 not done via gui... just meh.
nothing will happen at the end of the (freebie upgrade) year. they need big install base to sell the other rubbish / collect data, etc. most people get their windows via oem installs on new machines, does anyone really see windows going kaput after 1 year if they don't pony up? no. that'll never happen. win10 being win10 means devices gets lifetime upgrade for free. though of course definition of that is yet to be defined. you can reasonably see free upgrades (on that
interesting phrases.. markets. voting with their wallets. rarely do people do what they say. buy quality / genuine / local products, instead of just puffing hot air about dumping / fake. kind of like people going around various supermarkets looking for cheaper stuff and ignoring the extra petrol / time costs. but yeah. some trademark stuff makes no sense. think there was a recent case where some chinese company that makes accessories with
you forget to mention.. your gender and whether you have kids. does the control panel thing work? i mean, would they not be able to re-enable it anyway. (assuming not your run of the mill perverts.) i think it was mentioned somewhere that taping the mic probably won't do much. of course.. i don't use laptops/phones.. and don't have camera or mic. maybe they can go through the monitor speaker/headphones instead or even those monitor light sens
i was browsing around and was just looking at the bundle. noticed that it isn't using the new steam dynamic bundle pricing thing (where if you already have something in the bundle, the price gets lowered.) giving such gem as price of individual products: £35.62 your cost: £37.99 granted.. that was always the case and applies to most of the compilations out there. especially the paradox ones. seems most companies aren't using t
