I would like to see the NPC that you can hire, join your cities permanently. That way, if a merchant gives you +1 gildar, you could add that to the city production. This would make the buildings that increase a cities output more valuable. The campaign that is single player has a set map. The sandbox mode is random generated like in a Civ game.
