Is there a way to make the dosbox not so tiny? And what order do you run these programs in? How many of the bugs are fixed? Werewolves work? Cloak of fear? Enemy heroes with items?

I sincerely hope your efforts meet with success.
I think over time the trivial pocket change I spent on Elemental will prove a good investment. I was disappointed by the lack of a useful manual (more background story than game mechanics) and a tutorial campaign that wasn't much of a tutorial. But the patch is addressing some of this. I thin eventually this game will shine. And I think Stardock deserves praise for the long term customer service it provides for its games even more than it deserves criticism for releasi
I for one am very much looking forward to MODS and to the further...shall I call it polishing...of the basic game. Has anyone come up with a MOD that makes the AI have to find a wife just as you do? With a MOD that gives you enough points to make all of the basic sovereigns? (as in MoM...where you could make any of the basic wizards in custom mode)? I'm even looking forward to a player-made MOD that gives the game a master of magic feel. I might not use it
So...we download this version then update to day 0 version tomorrow?
I'm really glad they changed that part. Because losing power to build cities is contrary to the general feel of most of these games, from AoW: shadow magic to Master of Magic to Dominions. Do you sill lose power permanently to empower heroes or to create artifacts?
I had posted that the electronic peple at Walmart didn't show the game coming in on time a week or two ago. Of course, that may not have actually meant anything...could have just been the local Walmart. Thank you guys for being so considerate about ensuring your pre-order customers get the game on time. There is no requirement that you do so, and it shows enormous good faith and responsibility of the kind not often seen these days. Will we be downloading the Gold ver
I hope the downloadable version is released early as was suggested. I can hardly wait to get my hands on your hard work.
Very happy to have bought a limited edition via pre-order. Impatiently waiting for it to arrive.
I played Dominions multiplayer. And quite frankly most of these rpg tbs 4E games I enjoy single player much more than multiplayer. My hope is that you design the AI to have difficulty settings. So that when the "easy" or "normal" setting becomes too easy, the next higher difficulty setting can be used. I think if you overdo the AI and "turn it all the way up" as some in this tread recommend, you will make the game unfriendly to the casual gamer. Plus, I d
I'm more than happy to pay something reasonable for an archival DVD. People who don't wish to pay for media and shipping may simply not value an archival CD. So...when I try to update both my desktop and my laptop, using the same CD code and the same Impulse account, Impulse will allow that?
We have gift credit cards like gift visas in the states. Surely you have those in the EU? Just get one with a hundred dollars (or I guess it's x many Euros for you) on it, pay an activation fee, and spend. I think it would work. Just would have to know you aren't being billed until they are shipping it to you, so don't go spend it and not have enough money on the card for when they are going to bill you.
This is a wonderful idea. I like to have a full digital archive on hard copy. And I will never install STEAM again. What is Stardock's position on having two copies installed simultaneously...for instance one on a desktop and another on a laptop computer so long as they are not used simultaneously?
After a very lousy experience with STEAM, I confess my initial dislike of the very idea of Impulse. But after enjoying Impulse TV and noting the way it works (from others on the forums), I will say that I am a convert. Thank you for making a program we are able to uninstall and still play our games.
Yes. When you successfully order, you get an email that starts like this: Your order from Impulse (<spa
This sounds absolutely wonderful. I love the screenshots and plan to play in high resolution. I think I will change my mind and download Impulse. At least I hear it will actually uninstall from the machine without losing the game easily.
I didn't think it was bad. It was mediocre, but I appreciate BoogleBac's perspective and would rather have a mediocre trailer and a great game.
Are you sure the updates will require Impulse? Many game manufacturers (e.g., Bethesda and the people who make Dominions) allow direct downloads of patches.
How will collectors' edition purchasers such as myself obtain the book and the book associated mini-campaign? Buy it in a bookstore? Pay extra and it will be shipped with the CE? Is Impulse required to get the mini-campaign?
But for the day0 update, won't I have to use Impulse? I'm not too fond of this proprietary software stuff after having experienced Steam.
I hate Steam. That garbage has been on one of my computers, and I had the hardest time getting it off. I don't use this proprietary software. I just hope we are allowed to download patches without Impulse.
This looks so wonderful. I've been waiting for something like this to come out for years. It looks better than AoW: Shadow Magic. I still sometimes play Master of Magic. And it looks as if we may finally have the equivalent of a sequel.
Some games just give the AI extra resources compared to the player. I hope folks are talking about the way the AI uses resources, not just extra food, gold, etc.
If amazon delivers on release day, I guess I screwed up by buying direct from Stardock.
It's currently not on Walmart.Com at all. And the database does not show that walmart intends to carry it anytime soon. At least that's what the person in the electronics department told me. Whether she actually knew or not...who knows?
