It would fit in fairly well with the way Elemental handles unit training. You could save money on the weapons but still give them combat training. Training Time should mean a bit more in FE as well since now opting to train that soldier will stop you building as well. It'd be kinda silly to see them in the frontlines but it'd be pretty neat if it was a valid option for more miscellaneous unit types, ones with Pioneer Kits and the like.

[quote quoting="monsterfurby"] Azkatraz - well, there's integrated graphics, and there's integrated "graphics"... While I don't know what kind of system you have and it is of course good to hear that it runs on it (the cloth map display sounds good, actually), I always assume that this here thing will not be able to play it. My system specs are namely t

You get a diplomatic relations boost with the faction once kids start getting born. Once the first kid is out, you're almost guaranteed to never have that faction declare war on you again. Diplomatic Victory is actually pretty easy between this and Diplomatic Capital.

The cloth map is meant to run on extremely low-end machines. It runs on this laptop, which has integrated graphics. But it does come with its own problems. For starters, you lose the nice visuals. You're pretty much locked out of tactical combat and have to rely on auto-resolve. The A.I does a decent job, but it tends to spend your mana and sometimes ends up killing off champions and such. You have to avoid using your Sovereign/Spouse in most cases. Besides, looking at a cloth map and auto-re

- The only way to kill a Sovereign should be to remove their head from their shoulders. If an enemy Sovereign lands the killing blow with an edged weapon, an edged spell or an edged diplomacy, the dead Sovereign's stats are added onto the winner's stats in a burst of lightning.

It does get represented like other resources at the top of the screen. It's easy to miss though since it often disappears quickly early on and resources you have 0 of din't show up. It's used for building Houses (With the idea being that Food = Housing = Population = Level Up Cities), Markets and, now, Merchants.

I like the sound of this change. Makes it seem more like your Sovereign is an actual channeler, redirecting magic from the shards. One or two things I'm not sure about, but I guess I'll have to see it in action first.

It runs pretty sluggishly on this laptop, which is only slightly disappointing since I thought it would run better than that. But even so, I'm really enjoying it. I was busy on its release, so I had the benefit of starting out with 1.05. As a sidenote I was also pretty impressed by Impulse. A short wait and three clicks and I was playing the game.
