The problem is simple. Huge Empires doesn't increase the costs (see how Civ4 handles that for example). So an AI player who can solve all city/unit tasks in like no time has no problem with that. Humans tend more to build fewer citys that are strong.

A single mouseover tooltip like "Turn 168 - Quest "The Ratcatcher" given" would help alot ;) But true, something like a Questtracker would be helpful. Could be solved in many ways. Hmm a 4x4 window with the Quest location maybe? A button so you can focus on the location? Hmm maybe big "sparks" on the mainview with different colors?
You must go back to the Dungeon were you started the Questline to finish it.
Monsters roaming around seems to be random too. My previous games tends do be boring, even though I researched all the Adventure Techs they doesn't seem to spawn faster and were very weak (like turn 350 and still only spiders and thugs/brigands spawn with a pack of ogres inbetween). Actually my current game gets really weird, monsters tends to spawn very often and in large packs.
That does happen sometimes. Try to close Elemental (so your memory gets wiped) and load the save. That solved the issue for me.
Many good points in here. I would like to add that the amount of citys you can have should be restricted in any way. On large maps with better than normal AI setting they keep spamming citys. And due the fact of meeting them early (when a player should have like 4-5) the have double or more citys then yourself and declare war on you. Hell even then when its easy to conquer them then, what btw could be impossible w/o having organized and +movement rings its hard to catch all those citys. The k
What really annoys me is that my High lvl spells keeps missing or really roll low numbers in tactical. Like a Melting touch supposed to do up to 200 damage just rolls 10~30 and doesn't even hit the most time. Hitting Autoresolve this spell and others works like they should - dealing 100+
I had 2 Stone Giants, 1 Fire Giant, 2x 24 atk Archer, my Sovereign with ~80+ Essence and two childs with ~40 Essence. Wasn't that hard at all. I did not even loose a single unit. And my Sov/childs weren't even well equipped due massive Gildar shortage.
Medium Quest Victory -> 113 (3 Factions still around) But whats the point in having a scoring system without having a highscore list?
I had that problem too. Its even worse when you have one of your childs in the stack - supposed to be the leader and a random unit is the stack leader so you can't move the army around quick.
Hmm. I didn't notice that.
When you have the Endurance Spell active on your Sovereign, hire a new Hero and move it onto your stack.. the spell somehow disappears. This happens to me twice in my actual game before I even noticed this. (I was like omg why did my movement went down to three again?). My Sovereign has the Organized feat (if that helps).
I was curious about that too. At last it would be nice to have a tooltip info about this.
I have the same issue. It seems like the economy treaty gold does not cash in. Edit Loading the save right after starting Elemental from the desktop it shows like ~40Gildar+ on Mouseover. Loading it up after I loaded a different save it shows like ~2Gildar+ on mouseover. Looking in the Empire Screen it should been 40+ each turn. The difference can be explained with the economy treaties. Thats the amount of cash I am missing. Downloa
After using this, I had no crashes yet. The only thing left that its still slowing down after a while. ^^
You can also go negative with materials if you exploit this bug.
