Both mods works differently, but archive nearly same result (u get more mounts) so pick the one suits you more! :) City Stables requires warfare mount technology and can be build one per city (not nation) and need level 2 city. So both mods are very different in how its work!

Hmm, how many ppl were there on release of Civ 4? When it came out it was criticized by every man and his dog. It had planty of technical problems and big shipment screw up. I will buy both of them, they way to different to compare!
