Been playing around with the Beta, and I have to admit that I'm a bit disappointed. Elemental has a fantastic concept, but it just seems to fall way behind when compared to other games in the Genre. 1) The tech-trees Nice concept, but there's only what? 20 Warfare, 15 Civic, 8 Adventure and Magic and 5 Diplomatic techs, bringing this in at less than 70 techs across the whole gamut? Isn't that a bit few? I was hoping for massive tech-trees

Ah, nevermind - archers and bows are back where they belong. I still can't build Harbours no matter how close to the sea I am. I do have the oddest things when not restarting my computer between games, though. Something's saved in the memory and doesn't get flushed with closing the game. For example: One game, I went all the way to a tech-tree so that only Refines were left available. Starting another game, and the respective tech-tree (Civilization) remained em
Researching Ranged Weapons doesn't unlock Archers. Researching Seafaring grants Archers, but does not unlock the construction of a harbour. I don't think you require any more details, do you?
Are we there yet? Will it update automagically by launching, or do I get a notification on that strange Impulse-launcher?
