If two dudes marry, can they cast gay magic? Rainbows and unicorns of destruction.
Not sure necissarily the first suggestions, but definately agree about wild animals entering a city wreaking havoc yet not destroying the city.
I agree. Wild animals like wolves may kill your peasants while giants could smash buildings down. I don't see how wolves can destroy my outpost????? Nonsense
How about your peasants and population take up arms with +1 strength per person and in huge groups to try to survive. It seems silly there is no fight for survival from the civilians, or there are no refugees spawned from a conquered city which can relocate and start a new city.
Here are a few of my thoughts on making the game more fun: Recently, I played an island game where I met no enemy during the course of the game. I completed the Master quest which was conveniently spawned on my island. Questing should be coded to spawn the quest in the most dangerous area possible in the current game. Whether that be your <span sty
Plus, is there anyway to track your quests. A logbook or something similar? If so, its hidden from me and if not. There should be. Every 5 levels of Adventuring should allow you to take one more quest than usual. lvl 1-4 is 5 quests lvl 5-9 is 6 quests lvl 10-14 is 7 quests and et cetera maybe this is modified by the number of adventurer heroes a sovereign has as well. At current, questing is no more

It should be coded to spawn in the most dangerous area possible in the current game. Whether that be your faction enemy's strength + number of high lvl creatures around or something similar. It was disappointing that the game didn't challenge me to get out there. I feel that this should be similar fo
I've recently had a crash after a tactical battle ending. It freezes the application on my computer so I cannot minimize but need to restart. Is there anyway to program the application to shut down after a crash, instead of just hang? alt tab doesn't work. Ive also had problems with crashes while loading new worlds, no error logs though. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/911
Performace The performance of the game is not too great for me. I do not consider to have an ultra-low end system either so I worry if the game will the worthwhile once released. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/9114341/DxDiag.txt I'm running Win Xp on Bootcamp. Mass Effect, Disciples 3, NN2 all play great on high settings. This game I have on low settings. 1024 by
Very good ideas! I agree on the tech arguments.
Happened to me as well, froze my computer so no error report. Running bootcamp on xp.
All good ideas!
The line on most of the descriptions are distracting to me. Its a broken line that I always mistake at first glance for writing. I think it should be modified so its not so distracting.
3 in 5 times I cannot create a new game either. It would be nice if these gamebreaking updates were distributed daily rather than till the next release. Theres no point in trying to even look for bugs when the game is this unstable for me. The game freezes my computer when this happens so no error logs for me.
Yea, I'd also like to be able to build Forts ... very low influence exertion, cannot hold much population, cannot build most "city" buildings. Can build -comfort housing (slight prestige boost and significant morale boost) -grand barracks (increased HP regen, morale) -Training Yard (slow Xp gain for stationed units, can't increase past X experience/level ... level 3?) -Pub (prestige increase, sl
Yep theres a delay. Either the WASD or arrow keys need to be defined as a scroll tool for the map. Period. Hooah!
You know the the owner of the porting software takes profits on all mac game sales, not buyout. This has caused larger games to do it themselves instead of using a third party which can pretty much make any windows game compatible with mac. I'm on a mac, and I have windows xp bootcamp. What irritates me is developers ignore bootcamp problems that occur 10-20% of the time. Errors that cause a computer restart. It has something to do with something and I've never
I definitely agree that you should have the ability to do whatever you want with the town after you capture it. Albeit, raze, loot or migrate the townsfolk (capture them or enslave them). The city would need to take a huge penalty after capture though. I think it would be a difficult juggling act with using population as a resource. I played a 500 turn game with one city on an island today just looking at how the city grows and spells and et cetera. The problem is that the game at aro
As far as the towns outside of cities go, I think it would be more interesting if each faction had more distinction between them. This is already true between the east and west of the rift but not so much for the individual factions on each side. I guess most people would play east and west once just because they already play differently, but choose their favorite of each side. It certainly would add more playability to the game if every faction was more than pluses and minuses of attributes.
It would be interesting to play a necromancer. I imagine being able to turn on a mode similar to a land fertility (green to red) mode as in other strategy games. But in this case a death mode. The necromancer would be able to see how many souls have died on a particular plot of land and raise them. This would make the purify land spell worthwhile as well as allow you to strategize where to fight particular battles.
Here is a days log from a few crashes. Most recently I had a computer restart crash after trying to create a magic ship on a land tile next to an ocean tile.
