The Historian by Elizabith Kostova was a terrific book about Dracula! I finished the book the day before Elemental came out. Well, these poor souls in the story are directed to ancient books that feature a horrid painting of a dragon with it's wings spread open. I loaded the game and that same basic scene unfolded before my eyes! Blew my mind for a few minutes and creeped me out!

If the idea is to appeal to a wider audience I can't see how scaling down the beautiful cities will improve the game. Building my awesome cities was half the game for me! A seperate map for them would be fine, but I am in favor of just keeping them the way they are.

Why not just save these transcendant concepts for the future? As in when we have the technologies. I suggest living within our means and for once trying to be good stewards of the world we live on in - reality. It's a nice big planet! The space shuttle was an enormously inefficient vehicle. That is gone and now what have we got? The Air Force has the space planes now. We can't even ferry humans into orbit (USA), much less blast off to Mars or Alpha Centauri.

Game's gonna be insane. Love the multi-threading aspect. I can see myself playing this one exclusively for a long long time. Simply amazing. Frogboy, you are one determined character. You got knocked on your butt and came back swinging. Quite the talented group you have assembled there at Stardock.

Certainly looks like the kind of game one could play for many years. I can't imagine how far this could be expanded if Stardock focuses on this for at least another year. Or two? Sideways 8?

I would suggest Anno 1404. It's tough but amazing.
