Ah good to know, i got ahold of the map pack recently when it was part of the midweek sale for Fallen Enchantress and thought about checking up on the mod and may also check out that summoner mod you made as well. Think my next game I'll go for creating my own faction as well. Still a great mod ^_^

Been a bit since I poked around here but I'm guessing this version is still current and compatible with the latest patches for Fallen Enchantress?

I'd like to add that I got the problem resolved. I had placed a ticket with support sometime at the beginning of last week. Just due to the length of time i was worried I may not get a response. By unchecking the Steam community In-Game box in the properties I was able to get rid of the problem and now the game launches just fine through steam

Ah, well easy step around then will just be editing a female torch bearer or bardette then :) I had a guiding spear i had picked up somewhere anyway so i gave that to her lol

Possibly got a bit of a glitch going with the female variation. I had designed a female henchwoman based off one of the ones u had created, in this case the shieldwoman. once i brought it out of training however its equipment was a little off. Instead of the spear she shouldve had she came equipped with only a shield and no weapon. If i go in to check the unit in the design tab it still shows the correct changes I had made when I designed her. Not being

I am still unable to launch the game via steam's interfaces. A large majority of the time the game will only seem to partially load(Steam recognizes game as currently being played/ Fallen Enchantress also shows up partially in Task manager) but game is not visibly running. This seems like a bug/glitch somewhere as I can load the game fine using the .exe file in the games installation directory.

Yea i noticed, just canceled out and went back in again and i was able to play around with traits. I'm right that some of the defensive ones at least are some of the same that can show up during the champion/henchman lvl up stages? My Valkyrie will b good to go as long as the henchmen air trait will let them cast a lightning spell in the advanced levels

55 Replies 46,795 Views

Ah thats right, we werent able to tweak the traits n such on the female variation were we? Edit: oook nvm, for some reason it wasnt letting me do it initially, now its letting my play around with the traits. KICKASS Now to make my lightning spell using spear wielding Valkyrie

I made sure to remove the older ones before I applied the new ones in. Ive got a nice new game going and i'm prepped to start training up my own hench followers. I went and hid all the default unit designs. This game. Its all being done with custom designed units ^_^

Sweet, going to grab it up now. Lol i had just started a fresh save to test my custom sovereign out lastnight with one of the older file versions lol. took me about a half dozen map restarts to grab my preferred lvl 1 champion . Good thing the game is great fun. If i happen to notice ne quirks i'll be sure to toss you a heads up Parrott Edit: So I can just unpack the henchmanfemale folder into the mods folder on its own, or do I still

Parrott, i gave u a karma boost earlier for addressing one of the few complaints I had with the game ^_^ Going to re download your file and give it a whirl tonight. well once i go through a half dozen map regenerations till i get the lucky draw of my first champion i'm looking for lol

55 Replies 46,795 Views

I"ll be keeping tabs on when you're able to edit this again Parrot, when you get the chance to i'll be sure to grab the updated stuff and get it into my game ^_^

55 Replies 46,795 Views

Ah I'm sure this will be fine as is lol. I'll check it out on my end the next time i get a chance too, And my games dont have Relias currently as i'm using a custom sovereign with the henchmen trait ne way ^_^
I've updated it again so you don't have to replace any core files... enjoy.
So which download link should we go after o.O Applying these will need a new game to take effect I'm guessing? Edit, nvm lol

55 Replies 46,795 Views

Does this require a new game to take effect? I'm going to figure it does since i loaded an existing save and didnt notice the options anywhere, They should follow your lead and get this fully implemented in game ^_^. I'm trying not to shameless bump my thread about this to often haha

55 Replies 46,795 Views

Ah gotcha, well not being able to edit their traits is a willing compromise id think until they "Hopefully" implement female henchmen. Being able to edit traits on every other unit type kind of makes up for it, minus champions. At least when they level up we're still free to edit the level up traits n skills as we wish though. Was having fun tryin interesting setups on the default henchmen, taking my torch bearer, sending em down the path of the mage, giving him a flame shoo

So the version that you worked up that doesnt alter ne game files use the base trait sets that the shieldman, torchbearer and bard use, just can't edit them like on other units? Hmm, I may take a look at it this week, I'm getting a bit bummed that I still can't launch the game properly even after the update I noticed just got downloaded and applied, s*sigh* I'll check out your addition though the next time i sit down to play

Thats pretty cool. I do think I'm going to leave the game as is for now though, in hopes of them implementing the feature in a patch or update. I"m making due so far in my custom sovereign's game using a few henchmen mixed with champions. I'm still going to keep hoping it gets put into the game though, few days of playing consecutively and I've really not found anything in the game that seem like faults to me besides that ( granted only on the easy difficulty s

I know you guys/girls are out there(Devs) *lures Devs in with more [e digicons][/e] I'm actually surprised this many people have commented in favor of a post I made lol ( rarely post on forums )

48 Replies 205,327 Views

I dont think a 4th tab would be absolutely needed, just let clicking the Henchmen tag randomly generate male or female. It'd b a start and I'd be more then happy to see it implemented.

48 Replies 205,327 Views

I hope the game Dev's are catching wind of the suggestion. It just feels like something that totally compliments the games unit design feature immensely

48 Replies 205,327 Views

Well, you could setup a beastlord sovereign for that, couldnt gear it up but its kind of like having a cavebear henchmen lol
Quoting dihir, reply 14When you go into unit design, you can edit them and you have a gender option. wrong. In the game, "henchman" is treated as a gender choice. Male, Female, or Henchman. (so technically they're not even male) If you change a henchman design to female (or even to male) and then build one, you'll get a normal soldier, and they'll lose the ability to pick traits, wear equipment, e
