Those screenshots were mockups. The game never looked like that unfortunately. Hopefully some day it will.

All units must have a special ability. Special abilities should also be trainable in the unit designer. That would make both unit design and tactical battles more fun. As it stands right now, there really isnt much to do other than just pump up the attack value or maybe combat speed. The only units I control that have special abilities are summoned units and a demon unit that I managed to build towards the end. Both the special abilities were pretty bland to boot. Actually the o
Wow what game is that screenshot from? :D
Played it for a few hours now, the gameplay is amazingly fun as expected. Artwork has improved a ton and everything looks great. However, it has crashed about 6 times now (not alt-tabbing). Yes, x64 / Ati combo, I dont see anything abnormal with memory usage, the game just freezes after a while. So minus the freezes, crashes and alt tab issues, the game looks pretty bloody amazing. Personally I think these issues should've been dealt with in the beta, they had been spotted a lon
Lol common, at this rate if the x64-ati bug wasnt fixed(god I hope its really fixed), it'd be ati and microsofts fault too. Isolated cases could be a result of bad drivers/os settings etc, but when a significant number of users have experienced the same issue since the earlier beta's how can you pin it on microsoft, ati, nvidia or dx? Especially when most other game in the world running in the same environment have no issues tabbing out? Not to mention it'll just h
Wow really? Its one thing to like a company and the games they have made in the past (which I do in Stardock's case), but attributing spelling issues, misplaced description/artwork to "the human touch"? Thats just absurd. I'm not one to get hung up over typo's or grammatical errors, hell Kings bounty and Space Rangers 2 had their fair share of both, but by no means are they a novelty or a sign of special craftsmanship. They probably got the descriptions from Random
or the crashes, or how alt-tabbing kills the game I'm more worried about that. The 2 big issues I had with the beta builds were the x64 ati memory leaks and alt-tab crashes. Both made it pretty much unplayable for me, mem leaks and crashes meant I could play the game for a grand 3-5 mins on a lucky day. Amazingly enough, these issues persisted through every version of the beta. I know they claimed to have fixed it, but it is disappointi
