Yeah, its kinda funny you get the assassins blade just for starting the quest which has the same damage as the druss sword but has no level requirements.

Let me know if a full reinstall helped, i have this jumping instead of moving issue sometimes too. (And cant really pinpoint what causes it).
In addition to music not playing (well, playing at an unhearable volume) ,i had it happen that sometimes the music from the main menu AND the music from the strategic map are playing at the same time while loading. This has never happened before Version 1.01.
I can place starting points, quests and npc's on a map (with a rightclick). However, more often than not they do not show immediately, i have to zoom out to max and then in again to make them appear.
I find click dragging the map around much more comfortable then edge scrolling, so much that i disabled edge scrolling in the options.
The white treetops are meh, but the red ones are beautiful !
I played quite a bit this weekend and they must have gotten about 30 crash reports sent from me, all happened when reloading a game. But then, this is old news and they will fix it eventually :)
The same applies for henchmen too.
Fixed bug where sometimes the AI would force complete all of its construciton projects on the first turn after loading a game because it was using stale city defender power ratings (these are now recalced and cached while the game is loading)
While you are tinkering with reloading .. i posted in this thread screenshots and a save for the multiple leather greaves problem with surrendered Sov
This bug seems to be fixed for the standard sovereigns. I haven't seen them doing this in 1.00. But it looks like bug still exists for custom AI sovereigns.
Its not fixed for standard sovereigns in 1.004. And its related to reloading a game. (Savegame before demanding surrender here .) Here we have Markinn with 11 leather greave
If those things are happening they would be bugs. But we've not seen it yet. In all the bets, it never came up. once we reproduce it then we can address it.
I posted in the this thread like feelotraveller did, screenshots and a savegame from the instant multiple building rushes after reloading, hopefully you are able to reproduce it
I can reproduce this bug too. When i happened across this town i saved the game, reloaded (there it crashed with an oom error), restarted and loaded, pressed next turn and all queued buildings and units finished. Savegame from season 96 here. Note Markinn has 246 gildar, so he should'nt be able to even rush the hosten library. Screenshot at turn 96, lots of buildings in the queue: <img src="https://dl.dropbox.co
it just poofs when walking over it.
Earth Elemental has initiative 21, the opposing garotte has 21 initiative too. Why does the garotte get to act 3 times before the earth elemental can attack?
Lord Markin standing right ontop of one: savegame here
I'm not totally sure, but I think this is intentional (otherwise, it would seriously unbalance the game if you could kill any dragon with one spell ).
Uhm, why would the quest give me the spell then at all? Edit: Oh i see, maybe its one of those "hey look, i have a bridge which i can sell to you" thing.
On the second step of the "cloak of stars" quest, you are told to go and slay a dragon. To do this, you are given a new combat spell called "Valuha's Dragonslayer". Engaged in combat at the indicated location however yields a "no effect" message when used on the dragon.
This is my main pet peeve with FE. There were some threads about it in beta, like here.
quoting post Fixed a memory leak that occured on each reload Does this mean pedestrians will be given back to the 32-bit users?
Pretty please :) I promise not to report any oom crashes !
go with the mouse over each square of the wildlands and look if you still have a "mystyirous pit" somewhere, they are hard to see sometimes and dont show up properly on cloth map.
i hate to be the first :(, but .. steps to reproduce: 1. create a new character 2. press the new (faction) button 3. press the appearence tab 4. click on faction color 5. click on summary tab The color palette stays in foreground, after clicking on cancel or ok or somewhere else game hangs and then crashes. I tried this and crashed 3 times, so you could also check if you got the report sent 3 times. zip<a h
No Bugs in Priority 1 queue :) While that is good, how could my "not being able to load a savegame 4 times in a row without crashing" not even be honorably mentioned in there? [e digicons]:pout:[/e]
