I'm a vane bastard. I've been tempted to sign up to the GalCiv3 just so I can have a star named after me. I'm just not sure I want GalCiv yet, which is why I havnt actually done it. So yeah, the ability to name an npc, put a name into the random hero name generator (or ship or something) etc really gets me excited. I realize you cant allow 10,000 people to name heroes, but allowing say, some sort of top elite founder to create and name an in game npc, or name one of the ac

End game being all T4 is kinda normal to me. People always build the best end game stuff they can build. And thats not a bad thing in and of itself. So long as you still end up with variety. In FE crystal sure slows me down (a lot) but I eventually end up with a doom army of magically equipped cavalry troops. And before trhat I end up with a non magical plated up cavalry army. With high level guys insta gibbing everyone first round of combat. Please dont mistake me, I am a fan o
So far i'm enjoying AoW 3. I'm finding it a great game. Then again I enjoy FE, HoMM 5 & 6, Warlock and Civlization 5. I wasnt so happy with Horizon though. I find it interesting that people feel one needs to be the bestest. The simple thing is that both do things well, and both do things badly. My own personal findings are this, Hero leveling in AoW 3 is better, much much better. The skill tree in FE was great the first through play through and then its all the sam
To be honest it feels like a step back how it is now. I have fond memories of late FE having high level Sov's after a tough game who where quiet potent. In FE:LH i'm just getting more and more annoyed. The game is great fun, but leveling is pathetically slow. Plowing through 3 deadly armies that could potentially cripple my main stack is worth almost nothing. There has to be a better middle ground. The values as they are just seem way way to low compared to the wor
So its my first play through on Legendary Heroes (I've played FE more than a few times). The game improves a lot of things, I wont go into the details of that here, but i'm generally very happy with the overall product. I am however rather frustrated when it comes to city essence, which apparently is almost entirely missing from my world. My starting city got 2 essence, and of the other 5 cities I now have their is a total of 0
It seems I will be having unexpected flatmate's and that makes single player games difficult. Is their any options (like hotseat) for FE:LH? As far as I recall its strictly single player which is ashame really.
So I just got the expansion and I'm tempted to get the map pack. Is there any point? Is it inbuilt into the expansion, does the DLC cross over to the expansion?
I must say, with all due respect, I disagree. I will support that Tireless March should only work for one per army, because movements of 8+ is pretty insane. But Tireless March is also a spell, you can it or dispell it as you like. And it even has upkeep. However, when you talk about Hero abilities I am less supporting. I only get a limited amount of abilities per hero, I dont then want those abilities to be useless because one other hero already has them. And frankly I dont s
Low level its not that great. A lvl 4 unit gets a whooping +4, its only at the higher levels that it gets mighty. Mayber it should be slowed down. Personally though I think the other weapons need a bit of a buff. Lightning Pike is just... disappointing and Boreal blade is nice but not inspiring. The burning axe is meh. Scythe of the Void with Sword Mastery is awesome, I'll just never use ANY item with a 100% exp penalty. Change that and Scythe of the Void would be awesome.&n
I dont like when the computer cheats. I want a game where it does play on a leaving playing field with me. If I play monopoly with someone who isnt as good as me I dont give them free shit to make up for them not being good. Telling me that the design of the game needs to change and that i'm wrong for wanting a leave playing field wrecks of not knowing your customer base. That or i'm a minority opinion and just dont know it yet. What I mean by this is that i hate unfair
Pretending to like this game? Yeah nah. Its like how everyone told me i'm suppose to hate Dragon Age 2... and Diablo 3. In fact I havnt heard of an "acceptable" good game in a long time.
I have to jump in here and point something out.
Quoting Valentine82, reply 9The game seems more casual than it is on the surface, in the review it's compared to Civilization 5. FE is a hell of a lot better than Civ V. And yes, I'm looking at you, Shafer.
I really enjoy Civ V. Gods and Kings did a lot to really make that game awesome. That said I really enjoy
The thing I like best about Fallen Enchantress... its hard to say its got a lot of good features. The fact magic is a useable part of the game, that it has an impact and makes a difference and yet at the sametime it is so dominating that you dont need regular troops. I love the fact that it has a huge amount of RPG elements so I find myself running heroes around the map creeping like hell out of mobs while hunting down cool magic items. And I
Noob question it maybe but i cant figure out how to even upgrade to one. I got my enchanters tech but thats it. No options nothing avaiable. Its a magical does nothing apparently thing. Clearly i'm missing something but its not obvious. No button to push it cant be built, it cant be trained, why cant I just upgrade a monument?
