Since i upgraded game from 0.75 to 0.77 animation for a berserker's axe is really slow ... My sov takes literally 10-15 sec before hitting anything - game is frozen, nothing happens then hit is delivered. My sov is on horse and has a shield. I am also playing on the save from 0.75 not on a new game (i don't know if that can be an issue) Anyone with the same problem?
Same here: i can maul quite regularly with berserker's axe; however, game takes 10 s pause before each strike ... Drives me crazy to the point that i just wait for my sov to counter-kill everything ..

Yup, valid point. Encourages dragging useless champions with armies. Furthermore, if XP becomes split in further patches it would imply that every city oriented champ would have to become first a warrior - so city specialization would be difficult and looong ...
I agree totally - in my last war i have to kill the same champions like 15 times, many times they were just 4 of them in one stack with no other armies around, so it felt pretty badly repetitive ...
Regarding the warfare technology I think better would be a compromise. Technology trees offer various possible strategies, so i would not like warfare to be gone. However, i would remove most of weapons/armor from there. Bows, axes, swords and all kinds of armors should be available since the beginning. I would keep army size there, together with weapons upgrades (both for stats and special abilities) and magical weapons/armors. This would allow since the beginning of th
