LH is better than FE, period. The whole issue is if it is 20$ better than FE and on that I would lean to no. I have it free because I pre - purchased WoM and from my playthrough I can say that all the changes have been for the best. The encumberance system was too confusing. The weapon types were pointless, most of the players including me (casual player playing challenging, will try expert at somepoint) never bothered to actually choose weapon types for certain encounters, they just
Can you please take a look on how the AI handles the Escape Spell in auto tactical combat? I am playing Capitar and when I reach the mopup phase of a tactical battle i decide to let it autocombat to save time. My sovereign decides to use escape just before I kill the last monster denying me of the experience. Please take a quick look into it. Also if its possible to stop the units from using abilities like soulspark at will in tactical auto combat.
Can we have a link to the 1.0 changelog? You updated too fast and I didn't manage to check it! I like to keep track of the changes in the game!
I am a very peace loving character so I also prefer to develop as much as I can, except if I am boxed in. This game has too many to give in the later stages for somebody to want ot squish the opposition fast. I think RTS games are better suited for people like that.
Personally I disagree. We can barely manage the heroes we are already getting due to limited XP on the map. I haven't played WoM that much because it was broken and actually discouraged a person from playing, so I cant back up my opinion but I think the developers removed it for a reason.
Seriously ? I played the release version of Eador and I found it very bad. It's battles in comparison to HoMnM are very unblalanced and annoying, and the campaign interface is completely unintuitive, so I ended up uninstalling it. On the point LH tactical battles are not by far its strong point (like its Diplomacy) but I don't think there is actually so hard to fix them, like by adding some bonus tiles and stuff. With the new weapon abilities you can perform some interes
From my little experience as a casual player playing medium maps at challenging difficulty, I can say that this is a real problem. I have tried different setups and my conclusion is that in a normal game in a medium map, with a main army of 2 heroes each with tutelage and full +exp traits (not mage) they usually end up at lvl 13. Since 3 of those levels have gone to the +xp traits you have 10 traits from those big ass lines to put on ur hero, resulting in not maxing even one tree sometimes, e
don't forget that you also get +1 Fame per turn for an Adventurers Guild since LH. I agree that the xp bonus for stationed champions is still pretty underwhelming and needs some love (I think the best solution for this problem that has been argued for a long time now is xp reward for each constructed building in the city), in the meantime the fame bonus alone is enough to warrant an Adventurers Guild.
Exactly this. I am very satisfied overall with the direction that the game is taking. I found the random hero part one of the most annoying things, same with the random skills that made me end up taking potential on the first 2 levels. I didnt really care about the shadows as well but well they dont hurt as long as they work. The UI has undergone very positive changes, and I don't know if it is plausible, but it would be nice if we could see now the reasons the kingdoms like/hate us whe
