Try turning Anti-aliasing off in Options. I had similar problems that pretty much cleared up when I turned off Advanced Lighting and Anti-aliasing.

Reply to No map appearing on one comp in WOM BETA Builds

Ihad the same problem with an older GeForce 6600 GT. Turning off advanced lighting fixed the problem with portrait windows but not the map. The map appeared when I turned anti-aliasing to OFF.
