Personally, I would want it, and it would be a great addition in terms of the content.

Space building, level of details to the various weapon systems, design realism, ability to turn every system into a separate mini-game, superweapons/propaganda, popular support... awesome game
It is infantile. Here I have summarised what you wanted to say in three words.
this is simply not true https://steamdb.info/app/204880/graphs/ The peak for SOSE: Rebellion was nearly 100k players on steam alone. Do not forget all the legacy players who used to buy it on discs and their launchers. For the record, the peak for Stellaris was about 60k.
I already started wondering where are all the white knights. Being able to start seeing that something is really off with all bits and pieces so far is like two add two now. Of course, we do not know what we will get in the end, but at the moment, there are more red flags than there should be.
If it is not permanent - easier to sit tight. If it is permanent - bad news I guess. But perhaps some admin here might un-ban you. Check mods list looking for the top mod/Admin
I have 350 hours on SoaSE and was eagerly awaiting a sequel, Epic exclusivity completely killed any interest I had. I do not buy any game that accepts Epic's money, even after it comes to Steam. I do not support any company that does not value me as a consumer.
Sadly Ironclad/Stardock do not care about people like you or me having such a view. The deal is done, and it is not ch
Let's put things into perspective: Homeworld - Realism 10/10, Stellaris - realism 7-8/10, Star Control Origins - realism 3/10, Warhammer40K - realism 2/10. Do you see where this is heading to?
The reason people think that the units look "cartoony" is because current images suggest models lacking realism in terms of proportions, material look. And people want realism
I think "Non Refundable" early access tells even more. It killed the hype for me
Let's wait for the gameplay footage. Let's hope it did not lose scale or complexity for the sake of attracting the Fortnite audience
Agree. The overall look is very cartoonish. Remember Star Control Origins? Looks like a dumb down for general audience
Here is a comparison of regional SOSE2 prices on Epic Store https://imgur.com/a/jjhwnNQ
Will it be the standard 1 year grace period?
you can change type of the missions in the mission screen, as well as fraction and the level. If you have preferred AI fraction - research main diplomacy technologies, bribe them, start trading -> cease fire -> send envoys immediately to all their planets, ask them to do the same, go for the easiest level of the mission. When both of you have discent amount of envoys - 8-10 in total - it is a matter of time to reach scoring of 10 a
Yeah.. I had the same question. To improve YOUR opinion of other fraction try giving them missions, ask for money and envoys after you research such options. In effect your fraction's opinion of others improves the same way their opinion of you does I usually start with money, crystal requests - depending on the race - TEC are keen on credits for instance. #
Actually there was a guy on here who said many of the TEC ships have sound like Russian or other Eastern European languages. I don't remember what they mean though.
yeap - I can confirm that. It is Russian. Along with a number of planet names - mostly made of names of famous Russian people.
It is good to know what I clearly not the only who does not get the diplomacy... A Guide perhaps, anyone?
Thanks Haze! Does anyone have that diplomacy statistics explained by any chance? String by string?
If that's the case, give them missions, ask for money, ask for envoys, etc, your opinion of them goes up the same way their opinion of you does.
Thanks! This is useful. I have noticed, that you can request send envoy until you have a cease fire agreement. If you relations are that low - asking for resources if the only own opinion boost tool av
to be completely honest I am not playing the diplomacy part that much as I simply do not understand how diplomacy is working. When I hover mouse as you said - I see diplomatic inclination and diplomatic actions as different lines - what are these? I send envoys it boosted player perception of me, but my perception was constantly low - how BOTH figures can be increased? I am kind of missing an angle here. Does anyone know any go
Guys, are you successful in building a diplomatic relationships with the opposite fractions, especially of different race later in the game. I was igonoring their missions though the initial phase of the game (me versus 3 AI) and after the redistribution of the free plants with the borders set I switch to the diplomacy - researched all the techs and I could not get opposite TEC fraction or Advents beyond certain perc
During my sessions against AI am taking coffee or longer breaks while pausing by bringing F10 screen. It is common I switch to other programmes using Alt+Tab. However with Sins being minimized is my laptop's screen falls asleep after resuming Sins music starts playing, with the game still being minimized. The only way to stop it is to restore Sins and minimize it again. That did not happen with Diplomacy or Entrenchmen
cannot agree more!
